I am so happy from there is so beautiful worship song singing our sister and brother thanks so much i am always watching worship song. Amen Jesus christ name. ❤️🙏👍
Thanks to Brooke and Darrell and glory to triune God :-). So wonderful to be invited and enabled to sit with you as you commune with God and one another. This reminds me of the Rublev icon of the Trinity, in which there was (once) a small mirror that reflected the visage of the human witness standing in God's presence. And of the love that overflows the Great Cloud of witnesses, the body of Christ, of which this is a wonderful wisp. Love to watch as Brooke and Darrell reflect and speak - Brooke looks to the side, which often corresponds to listening to an inward voice - the sound and music of Truth; and Darrell tends to look up, which often corresponds to searching one's mind for the most appropriate language and images - seeing how to respond. Truly both are attending to the Spirit as they honor God and one another. How beautiful is the body of Christ....
Thank you so much for this lovely Spirit-filled chat, and for making it accessible here! As a Regent College fan, I love what you all had to say about theology and teaching (21:05), and it reminds me of what I’ve heard recently from NT Wright regarding theology as a life-giving, “load-bearing” exercise of the people of reconciliation. I agree that doing theology well can truly bring our communities ever so deeply into worship! And, in my opinion, this Is true particularly if: a) that theology is done in community, in committed, discipling relationships--so that it becomes transformative; and b) that theology done in community continually calls for communal action in response-so that the transformative nature of our theology spills over into our neighbourhoods and cities in action. “Come join!" indeed!
In season and out of season…in what ways has the church misinterpreted, misunderstood or misrepresented that…WOW. That’s a major question we must repent for and get right, for the times ahead…
Did anyone catch which Puritan’s Prayer Brooke read in her closing prayer? Unfortunately this recording cuts out before the closing prayer. Thanks in advance!
Thank you Brooke for this special opportunity to connect!
Brooke's song 'New Wine' has helped me alot in putting my words of lamentation in a good way. Thank you Darrel and Brooke. Truly blessed ❤️
I was thinking about that when she mentioned a song she wrote.
