Why are you alternating between talking and sign language? It makes the video difficult to follow and I honestly have no clue on what you were saying because half of the time I'm busy focusing on what you said then trying to understand your signs while you are doing your preparation and cooking. It seems you are rushing through the signs or whatever. Have you ever thought about doing a full video of you signing the whole time then edit the video by adding an audio track for the hearing audience so that way the hearing people can listen while you sign and do your preparation and cooking? Subtitles may help as well for those who are not used to your signing because not all deaf people use sign language or don't use the same kind of style you use. That would definitely help a lot of people understand you. You can do all of these stuff with TH-cam editing tools. Use them to your advantage! Sorry if you feel offended but that's the truth and I just had to say it.

Try to sign and cook / chop up foods while you are being forced to use one hand signing while the other hand is chopping away! I am patient, way more than you are because like I said I was offering my criticism for Paul Hansen and not offending him in any way. If I did and Paul lets me know, I'd gladly apologize to him, but there's no need for you to defend him. Yes, you don't have to worry about spending a lot of money because doing it through TH-cam or Amara, cost you NOTHING! It's a painless process that shouldn't take you a long time to do so I'm sure you can manage just fine, unless you are having someone else do the captioning for you. I know a few deaf as well as hearing people that have used the captioning feature with TH-cam and they have said it was the best, positive experience they've ever had so you should have similar experience! Remember, people can be harsh and hurtful, but it's just because they have nothing else to live for and thought insulting people is the best way to live their life so don't worry about them. For those who gave you constructive criticism, take it as much as you can because you learn from your mistakes and improve from them. You are doing fine with your videos, but there were a lot to be desired, including captioning. I'm just helping you enrich your experience as well as bring in more audience. Also, just wanted to let you know if you aren't aware of this; if you do not want comments at all, you can always lock the comments, but then you won't get any comments, whether it be positive or negative. Yes, I know negative comments aren't fun, but there are people on the Internet that enjoys putting other people down and you shouldn't be concerned about them. Paul Hansen Jr. A neat feature when using TH-cam is that you also signed up for a Google+ profile. You can "inbox" other people by making a private post. To do this, go to your Google+ page, make a post, but ONLY include the person you want to talk to. For example, if you wanted to "inbox" me, you do this from Google+ and go to the "Post" area, type out what you want to say, then go to the bottom of that post, it will usually show "Public" and you want to remove "Public". After doing so, the box will be empty and that's when you add someone like me by typing out my name, "Keyser Sose" and it probably will pop up a list of suggested names. Select my name and then when you see my name shown in the bottom area ONLY, you know you are directly messaging me and not anyone else publicly. That, in essence, is "inboxing" someone on Google+! You will find Google+ to be an awesome social media that indeed is a lot better than Facebook because Facebook lacks a lot of things, mainly features and security. Just a FYI!

First of all you cannot say he is not deaf because the truth is.....he was born profound deaf but grew up in 'hearing world' and had to lip read/orally. Also, when you are profound deaf by an 'audiologist' means you are 'deafness' in the ears does not mean the person has to know sign language!!!!!!!!!!! I,myself was born profound deaf but I am in same way as Paul where I grew up in a hearing neighbors/world where I had to pick up all of my lip reading even I attend some of the deaf mainstream classes and still does not mean I signs fluently like so many others DO. And you are going to stand and tell me I am not deaf?! You PEOPLE need to stop and think before you open your mouth! How dare YOU label if he/she must know sign language in order to be 'deaf'?! Are you kidding me?! For one, HE IS DEAF and secondly, you cannot cook and sign at the same time through out the cooking process. I always have them turned on all the time bc I'm almost fully deaf. It doesn't come up for these videos
