Introducing the New Donkey to the Herd - Smooth Transition or Disaster?

- In our most recent episode, we had the pleasure of welcoming Honey, a charming long legged mini donkey, into our farmstead. However, in the interest of ensuring a harmonious integration, we opted to keep her separated from the rest of our cherished livestock. Our intention was to afford everyone ample time to acclimate to her presence and to preempt any potential farmyard theatrics on her inaugural day.
Today marks the eagerly anticipated introduction of our latest addition, Honey, to our eclectic ensemble of farm pets, including the spirited Jessie, who occasionally ignites like a firecracker. Understandably, we approach this reunion with a degree of trepidation, mindful of Jessie's spirited nature and the possibility of her asserting dominance.
With bated breath, we embark on this endeavor, fervently hoping for a seamless transition amidst the verdant expanses of our farm.

How many members are loving the farm sounds! My goodness, turkey, geese, Scott, rooster, cow, and the birds, birds, birds!!!! I could sit outside there all day just listening to the sounds ❤ Even at the very end watching Mildred, I can hear Topper chewing! Thank you, Jason . It's so calm and peaceful.

I’ve learned so many things about little donkeys from Cog Hill Farm and Arms Family Homestead this past couple of years. I always thought they were stubborn and mean BUT they’re so calm and sweet with TONS of personality.
I’ve fallen in L♡VE with little donkeys. ❤️🥰❤️
Mules are closer to being mean and stubborn.
Jessie and Honey are a beautiful pair of donkeys. Jessie just wants to make sure she still gets lots of loving.

I grew up around people who treated their farm animals much differently (and thought I was a nut for talking to them the way I did, laughing at me and telling me 'they don't understand.') I just LOVE how much you LOVE your animal family AND HOW MUCH THEY LOVE YOU! And that you share these vids proving to people that all kinds of animals understand. Often better than some humans do! We know human social cues and Jessie surely knows Donkey social cues. It's so lovely that all of your animals actually know they are loved and will return that love with respect and cuddles.
