That Is one old tree and I respect the reverence given to it ,it's good to see pony tail in view of the camera again .Mr Tomblok where's your helmet and goggles ? Was that a old WWII search light I spotted in back of this Tree he's cutting down ? Are you using a different camera shooting this video ,the quality of the video is So much better than video's of the past ,That tree isn't giving it up easy it's a tough one ,where's the Husky 3120 Saw ? And then the rains came to add insult to injury for the day
Some of the tree patterns would make beautiful table tops. Why don't they use more wedges to keep the pressure off of the saw chains? Since it's raining might not it have been safer to use the crane to do all of the loading. A truly dedicated crew to still work in all of that rain. Do you take all of the wood from the trees you cut or just certain pieces?
Really good to see they take health and safety issues seriously _ especially as they probably only get paid a bowl of rice a day…..and many cigarettes…..😮

It would make sense to wedge the tree the further you’re cutting into it. That way you won’t pinch the bar.
