Temple Street is Back! Hong Kong's Busiest Night Market (4K)

- Temple Street Night Market has always been one of Hong Kong's night time attractions, with its diverse and cheap food and finds. Unfortunately, since the pandemic, its popularity has declined (as seen in my Temple Street Tour taken in Feb 14, 2023, see link below). Well, the newly revamped Temple Street night market has begun this month! As part of the government's Night Vibes campaign to boost its night-time economy, the famous attraction has been transformed into a multicultural food market to showcase the rich diversity of cultures in Hong Kong. Stretching from Jordan Road to Nanking Street, the market spans approximately 100 metres and takes inspiration from Taiwan's Shilin Night Market to offer a wide array of delicacies. Check out this video to know what I'm talking about.

just some stares here and there, especially when the camera is up in their faces (in very busy areas) lol
🎉
🎊🎊😄
Very nice nights out over there . Foods ! Got to be good ! If I am there , would like to try as much as I could . . Due to my recent health concerns that I cannot take an air flight for the visit . My wife just came back from HK a couple weeks ago visiting her relatives there . Everything cost much more than I thought of over there these days . Happy Temple Street Days . ❤ 👍😊🙏 🐈
I hope you get better Joseph, so that one day you can fly to Hong Kong again and visit places and eat good food. A healing New Year for you 🙏🏻
Many many people in Temple street!
couldn't even walk without bumbing shoulders hehe
一家人永冇隔夜仇,要繼續努力💪🏻

Hello. Until what time are the food stall open?
i think at around 9-9:30pm, some stalls start to close :)
Joyfull place to be occusionally! 😅
occasionally haha
Wow it's getting cold in Hong Kong!
It's weird over there. It'll say 9°c but feel freezing.
exactly! I always wonder if this is what 12°C feels like, then what if I'll survive 0°C in China or Japan 🥶
We will go in February how weather there? Is that near harbour?
weather will be lovely in February (15-20C) 😉
@@walkinginhongkong thanks
Was it closed ? What do you mean it's back?
for a while after the pandemic, temple street was generally quiet / empty but it is busy once again :)
I’ve ate at many of those places....I miss good food 😩
makes it even better when you're eating them on cold winter nights 🥶
Hello what is this street?
Hi, this is Temple Street in Jordan (1 station away from Tsim Sha Tsui ( harbour) in Kowloon
庙街日夜都繽紛,
they did a good job re-activating this place for sure!
We been there before, nothing but fake products 😢
you're right. that's why I only come here for the food hehe.
it’s a street market , what are you expecting lol
Ho door yan
what does that mean? 😅
@@walkinginhongkong 好多人 literally "lots of people" or "very busy"
@@breadyegg oh I see. yes, similar vibes as mtr on a friday evening
Temple Street is ruined. it's nothing but overpriced food and tat on the stalls... the real temple street market of 20 yrs ago has well gone! I won't be wasting shoe leather on it until they return it to its former glory back to a HK treasure, its so sad to see it now
it has definitey changed (I would say in the process of rediscovering itself)
