Bucket hat written base
5mm hook
4 weight yarn
Slip stitch and chain 2 between rounds
Magic circle
Round 1: 12 DC (12)
Round 2: 2 DC in each stitch (24)
Round 3: Place 2DC in every other stitch (36)
Round 4: Place 2DC every 2 stitches (48)
Round 5: place 2DC every 3 stitches (60)
Row 6: place 2DC every 9 stitches (66)
Rows 7-12: DC around normally
Row 13: Place 2DC every 2 stitches FLO
Row 14: Place 2DC every 2 stitches
Row 15-16: DC around normally
You can stop here or slip stitch around or single crochet around for the last row
Tie off all ends

I got it from my grandmothers cousin! She gifted my a ton of yarn she had in her collection since she doesn’t crochet anymore, she does cross stitching now. I have quite a bit of older yarn, still works though!
