I had this low tire pressure icon come on the other day driving but it didnt seem like a flat or anything - would i do this? or shoulda i bring it in the dealer? (2020 model )

Hey Jimmy Trang thanks for watching my video. If your low tire pressure warning came on you need to find the tire you have low pressure in and add the correct amount of pressure based on what your owners manual says. If that does not help, reference your owners manual for additional instructions or have a processional look at it. Please share an update.

If the light flashes for one minute and then goes solid then it means it could not communicate with one or more TMPS sensors which usually means the built-in battery went dead, but I guess it could also mean you left your TPMS sensors behind. ;)

I have a 2022 Toyota Corolla LE and was surprised that the low tire pressure icon does not show the tire location. With all the safety features it has I would think they could at least identify the tire instead of having to go around and check all four.
My 2014 Nissan Altima identified the tire that was low.

Hi wanted to add that if you have a solid TPMs light and you do the reset above the light doesn’t always instantly go off once the reset finishes. If you have checked that each tire’s pressure is correct, it should go off after a couple mins at most.

Do you know, For the 2022 hatchback, if a new TPMS set installed (on winter tires set for example) and programed to the vehicle, would the vehicle automatically recognize the two different tire set pressure or would it need to be reprogram every tire change? I believe programing cost 75cad$ ea. i guess if they are same tire size it won’t matter but what if they are different sizes i.e. may have different set pressure. Thanks

@@WheelsTips OK, so I got off work and had to go through the system reset twice. The light went away as I was driving out of the parking lot, but to be on the safe side, I checked the tire pressure when I got home.
Looks like it may have been the temperature this morning and it dropped the tire pressure. Some of the tires were a little off the recommended setting.
