EDIT: It also seems the manga sales are low right now (probably because of the slow release rate due to health issues), so if you can, buy the manga! If you don't want to spoil yourself in case the anime comes back someday, you could always buy the earlier volumes. In fact, the anime cuts out most of chapter one, so you'll have some extra stuff to read. And the art is very beautiful. I bought one and it's definitely worth it if you want to support Noragami.
It's been more than 7 years since this masterpiece of an anime ended. We still have no answers, and it pains my heart so much. This is literally one of the best anime out there, it's so underrated and it just breaks my heart to see how few possibilities there are of a season 3 ever being released. Noragami is the first anime I ever watched, and still one of my favourites. MUCH more people need to know about it. Also, the only anime whose intro I never skipped. It's just so good.
I get ur feeling but dont get ur hope high cause unlike cartoon in the west, they usually stand on their own. The anime almost always base on some kind like manga,LN,... and its purpose is to boost the origin sale of that anime. So when it achieved its purpose , they'll more than likely stop making it. But we shall see, till then there is nothing much we can do.

Season 3 please. It's become my favorite anime of all time. I streamed it, then bought the blu-ray, then all volumes of the manga. Never done this before for any other franchise.
I know its so goddamn good and it has even got plenty of manga content to make a new season but unfortunately the studio did not profit well enough from this show so it is unlikely that they will make a new season. But we can still hope, and I think once the studio is "out of shows" they may focus on a new Noragami season

But just the way it started, with the badass guitar and Yato sitting on a chair in a bloody blue room had me HOOKED!!! I instantly watched Noragami Aragato for it!!! And then I found out, it was the second season! XD this music was just Soo good!! And Yato's stare was Soo cold and badass at the end!!! Hey Kids!! was an opening name I never forgot since!!
i was rewatching noragami last week and i noticed that in the last episode of season 2, yato is slightly smiling in the last part of the intro when he turns his head. i never noticed it before; it's very subtle, but it's there!

Season 3 please. It's become my favorite anime of all time. I streamed it, then bought the blu-ray, then all volumes of the manga. Never done this before for any other franchise.
I know its so goddamn good and it has even got plenty of manga content to make a new season but unfortunately the studio did not profit well enough from this show so it is unlikely that they will make a new season. But we can still hope, and I think once the studio is "out of shows" they may focus on a new Noragami season

I still can't understand why theres no s3 for this, It's not like its super unpopular or the future chapters are bad.Its a really good show that still holds itself well to this day, even more so at the time it was released. Heck, whenever noragami is mentioned in conversations (atleast for me) it immediately follows with "I wish it had a season 3" to this day.

I remember I saw this opening in 2015 on Facebook.. didn't know what show this was... Didn't anything about it... But just the way it started, with the badass guitar and Yato sitting on a chair in a bloody blue room had me HOOKED!!! I instantly watched Noragami Aragato for it!!! And then I found out, it was the second season! XD this music was just Soo good!! And Yato's stare was Soo cold and badass at the end!!! Hey Kids!! was an opening name I never forgot since!!

I just realized that this anime takes the phrase "for the night is dark and full of terrors" to a whole new level.
i was rewatching noragami last week and i noticed that in the last episode of season 2, yato is slightly smiling in the last part of the intro when he turns his head. i never noticed it before; it's very subtle, but it's there!
