Raidens field time is the reason she cannot be used as a support (except for xiangling cause shes an off field dmg dealer). its just that 1. the dmg u get from building crit instead of er with ventis team overall is less than the dmg u get from kazuhas passive 2. other than pyro ventis burst infusion is not consistent enough to always be able to count on it 3. many chars cannot hit enemies in his burst so the er and eveything else is irrelevant even if it would be beneficial for them
The game is young , Venti can make a remarkable comeback later we have no idea what kind of enemies are coming later. What people are arguing is that the early floors of Abyss will eventually become a none challenge, and Venti loses his value that way. However on the floors with many annoying small enemies Venti is not replaceable. If you have core teams built, and struggle to clear Floor 12 of Abyss, Venti is not going to progress that. However if you skip the Abyss completely as well as domains, Venti is going to give you a lot of value as well as fun playing the game.

Dude Venti is literally the best character in world combat and exploration, quests, events, its just that he struggles in single target situations at abyss 12, needless to say weve got quite a good amount of multitarget abyss12 floors recently, basically 90%+ of the time hes the best and gives a lot of freedom to the battle yet there is people pretending he isnt like the most ridiculous character.

I am getting Venti and good thing he is guaranteed. I dont know about Furina i will probably wait for her rerun i dont really need her rn i just got Xingqui. An anemo grouper tho is way too important. I dont even have Sucrose and you cant rely on a banner that she is in because she is a four star you might not even get her like my Lynette situation. I got two off banner four stars and c4 barbara😢
2 things: im pretty sure ganyu and ayato have semi quadratic scaling with n=5 and n=4 iirc, while albedo has true quadratic scaling no matter how many enemies. Also hydro doesnt swirl less, but somehow hydro swirl does not deal dmg to adjacent enemies no? Im pretty sure element spread is still the same as other elements. Only the dmg part doesnt work
I’ve been saving for Venti, I love him so much and I’m really praying I win my 50/50! Also, I regret getting Kazuha, I do not think I will regret Venti(I know I won’t!)
Update: I won my 50/50! Got him to level 70 and can almost ascend him again! Currently, the talents are only 3 6 6 though, i only need anemo dmg bonus goblet for his artifacts.
What's better? 4-piece viridescent or 4-piece emblem on Venti in a Wanderer/C6 Faruzan/Bennett team? Faruzan has 4-piece tenacity and Bennett has 4-piece noblesse. I'm not benefiting much from viridescent since my main dps is anemo. So emblem sounds like i'll do more overall damage.
Venti is one of my fav character where his playstyle is really easily for me to movener with but some how l cant wrap my head around kazuha playstyle. l only really pull for characters l love or find their gameplay easy to my brain
I joined Genshin in 3.1, right after Venti Rerun Then I had problems and was unfortunately unable to get Kazuha in 3.7. Now I'll again go for him in 4.1. But it's 50/50.
I have all the anemo girls but the boys won't come home to me in scara banner I got sayu,sucrose and faruzan but not him I got jean in zhongli's banner and ofcourse lynette
I wan considering getting Venti in my sub account, since he makes farming materials easy asf and grouping for mobs easy pie. Then Neuvillette came but I aint complaining. It sucks his best constellation is at C2 but his C1 sucks. But in my main account, he never leaves my farming and story team
As a C6 haver I can definitely say that his C6 is the best. It pretty much has 100% uptime, more practical and easy to proc, and doesnt even need to be on field.
ngl this is half the reason I'm pulling for Venti 😂😂 Plus I plan on getting every single Archon, & he's the only one I'm missing atm out of all of the ones out currently.
An oft overlooked fact is that a lot of the Inazuma enemies that couldn't be CC'd were nerfed when Sumeru came out, so they can be CC'd again. The roster of enemies that Venti can affect is much larger than people think!
Venti will work in about 50% of the time in abyss 12. And when he does work he is completely and utterly broken. I think that's enough to justify pulling him if you enjoy his character. I like playing him with Yoimiya as they cover each other's main weaknesses, and Yoi does contribute a decent amount with her burst. I play them with Yelan and Diona, and with cryo infusion you can do like 50k on every enemy in the burst per tick.
Imo Venti value in single target is very underrated. The 15 energy refund is really strong specially in teams where you have more than one character of the same element getting the refund. The extra energy allows you to run more offensive substats without messing up your rotation. If you build him for crit he also does pretty respectable damage (very similar to kazuha if I'm not mistaken). Most of the tines against non ventiable content he won't be better than Kazuha/Sucrose but he definitely isn't far behind them.
He can't be worse than Sucrose if the team doesn't need EM at all. Maybe I am wrong but she is so useless in some teams and her damage are just trash so if the team doesn't need EM like freeze and mono team she feel useless.
@@Camelia437 In Freeze and mono teams, she isn’t great. The only buff she gives there are VV and her C6. Though, her burst grouping is actually substantially better in freeze because it can’t knock enemies upwards.
@@tonydai782 My Sucrose is only C2. She take too much time on field too and Ayaka need to stay on field so it is really a big issue too in freeze team.

Yeah people keep saying "when he works" but he's always worked, even for enemies that don't get lifted, they STILL get pulled in, that's more than enough grouping. Add on his energy refund to not only the team but HIMSELF, his ER ascension, and great weapon choice I find it quite weird that people sleep on him as much as they do. Literally testing 2 teams, one using Kaz the other using venti, both teams clear abyss in roughly the same time, and in almost all cases Venti pulls ahead.
I love Venti. I've been using him since the day I got him. and I have his c1 and planning to get c2. I pulled for the First Great Magic for him and a c6 Faruzan and i've never been happy. Venti all the way.
I actually think he’s more valuable than Kazuha right now, the enemies in the abyss are so spread out Kazuha just can’t reach, I been using Venti national team.
I think Venti just suffers from the existence of Kazuha. Realistically, Zhongli is a very similar character with a similar place with the worst situation for Venti, but you don’t have another King of Shields, and even held off on releasing the Zhongli challenger, Kokomi, until much later in the version (and she can’t crit rip). But in the version Kazuha released with, Venti was heavily nerfed to prop him up. Now the impression of Kazuha’s CC being better than Venti’s has set in, it’s hard to convince people that Venti remains the only king of CC, and Kazuha honestly doesn’t challenge him in that regard.

Tbh, i did pull for kazuha, yes. But for exploration (venti + Kazuha is really nice to get slightly more height). I don't actually use him that much in abyss. Venti however...he was my first archon, he's my absolute favorite character and was my first lvl 90 character. Him, Wanderer, Layla and Bennett were the biggest reason i even completed the spiral abyss floor 12 the first time. He helps me with bennett's er, giving me the ability to give bennett a little less er and more hp so he can still heal a good bit. Hell, my name on the game is literally CultOfVenti. I love this video.
Venti is fundamentally broken. If mihoyo doesn't take him into account while making the abyss chambers, He simply becomes an instant win button, as he used to be.
I've saved for rizzley, as soon as I get him , I'll spend some wishes on venti, i missed him on his previous run and he's the only archon I don't have (hopefully I have wishes leftover for Furina also haha)
@@ahmedbraham3327 Wrio is going to get a rerun before Venti does (they've been doing this with the new units, they all get at least 1 rerun before the new nation comes, and the latest units that got released near the end of the current nation will get their rerun at the beginning of the next nation), so if you really want Venti, it might be better to get him now.

Btw Lyney is the same boat as Yoimiya- Kazuha is great for mono teams but I like Venti because I don't have to run in to vv shred and run back out. He also allows what little aoes Lyney has to perform better (his skill, burst, and taunt explosions) which makes it feel a lot better to use him in aoe. It's very minor preferences but I'm enjoying them no less. Especially against the current 12-1-A boss- I just hate running after bosses and it feels more inconvenient when the floor becomes electro and can ruin your infusion on Kazu as well as damage you or overload you..
I really hope Venti to be updated (which i doubt it tho). His ability, the HOLD version is simply bad/useless. Its been reeinveted/outdated/powercrept specially in-battle but also even in overworld too with gadgets and not being able to use while airborne as his nemesis Kazuha or even Xiao do. Venti could give a attack speed bonus (suitable for the good of wind) buff that would be very good, unique and a reason to chose him outside that ridiculousness his ultimate do. Competing even with kazuha for bio some scenarios regardless the Grouping. Barbatos lacks that 100% ability uptime every other archon have nowadays and an extra effect is a much more balanced way to increase his usage/performance outside any form of personal damage increase
@IDKbruh420 the thing with that is that it works most of the time, if he can't suck the enemies at least he can pull them except the bosses, don't argue that the Inazuman enemies cannot be suck or pulled because they're nerfed now, also with the bosses, just unleash his burst when the boss is in the phase where they stay in one position because his dmg is consistent plus add neuvillette charged atk, our claim wins
@IDKbruh420 to be frank, Kazuha's pull sometimes feels off to me, based on my experience, when Kazuha pulls enemies after he plunges, he slightly pushes away the enemies which causes them to ran away again from the point I grouped them and it sometimes makes me fail in some abyss floors compared to Venti's succ consistency because his burst has longer duration and longer range. I get that Kazuha's pull can be achieved more frequently than Venti's ulti but if you have enough energy recharge for Venti (180-200) that interval is not a problem.
Last Abyss Cycle's F11 made me realise how much I want Venti. 11-1's Monolith made me run two Anemo groupers. I already had Kazuha, so 1st side was a cakewalk with Ayaka freeze team, but for 2nd I HAD to use Sucrose National to even have a chance at getting 3 stars. If I had Venti at that point, I could run literally any team, and his succ would be enough to keep the Monolith safe
Really wanted Venti, but figured I'd skip him considering the quality of the four stars on the current banner. But the gambler in me wanted to do just one cheeky 10 pull. He came home early, 3 pity in!
furina will most definitely get a rerun, some people speculate in 4.6 so picking up the anemo archon may not be such a bad thing. Nevertheless, always pull who you want !
People can pry double Anemo CC from my cold dead hands... I usually run Kazuha 1 side and Venti other side for Abyss Sucrose can CC too but she feels more clunky at times in comparison, so I prefer the other two
i got venti on the first rerun and after that i never regretted getting him... i still use him in everything especially in abyss hahaha.. not very hard to build and also his burst is up after 2 elemental skill so very nice. venti have very special place in my heart. from 1.0 till now i can say you need venti you'll never get tired of opening chest with him and hear the lines "Thank Barbatos!.. wait a minute." youll never get tired of it hahaha
I have both kazuha and venti ryt now i can say I'm an end game player and i use venti more now since my dps/sub dps does a lot more damage yeah kazuha is good if your character s needs boost but if your main damage dealer is already well equiped it better to use venti ^^ cc is too valueble for late in the game XD
No, it's absolutely not. Value your funds more. Don't just roll randomly for whoever is archon. Not everyone is crazy archon collector. Some of them are easily skippable.

My situation is as follow : I have raiden, hu tao, kazuha, yelan and neuvillette, i w have a garanteed 5 star and my pity is at 45, i want furina, but i also want venti, and i dont have patient, so what am i supposed to do?

It's a waste of time to wait for Kazuha rerun. I may be low on primos (being pure F2P), but I do need someone with crowd control desperately right now. Venti will do.
I really appreciate these videos they're extremely informative. Although I do have two small criticisms, they might be coming from personal bias so take them out leave them I love your videos regardless. First I think that people make it sound like Venti isn't at all viable in content where the enemy isn't “Ventiable", something I'm still not sure about since I've heard people say he works and I've heard people say he's useless, that's the reason I clicked this video to begin with, I don't have him and wanted to know if I can use him in the higher Abyss floors, but no one discusses that and it's just the same thing about him being best against small enemies and not against large enemies. Secondly I feel like no video on TH-cam can go without mentioning how Kazuha is more fun to play than Venti, anytime that there's a discussion about Venti VS Kazuha. I think fun is something highly subjective and doesn't have a place in videos like this, since it also might discourage people from getting something they otherwise would've liked. There’s always the occasional abyss where venti is amazing, a few abysses ago he was really good on floor 12 first half, right now I’m hearing he’s good on floor 12 second half. I have no the venti and Kazuha and have more fun with venti personally.
Hello, venti main here. He is certainly not useless, but that's moreso if you want to play him. He's not the best option, but he's not the worst either. Something to keep in mind is that you need to get a feel for his burst before you can use him efficiently. A lot of times i've heard people saying that he won't be able to group the enemies in x scenario, but i managed to do it. He often feels like shit to play until you figure out your exact positioning, but doing so feels rewarding. Another thing to ask yourself is "do i do enough damage already?". If the answer is no, then venti isn't ideal. But if the answer is yes, you can use him in basically any scenario when you would use kazuha. Even against a boss, he still gives you vv shred and energy back. That's still something. Tl;dr He's mostly a character you pull for if you like, not to improve your account. If you get him, you will be able to use him in floor 12, he just won't be ideal most likely. Although when he is ideal... uhm. Let's just say he makes the impossible possible. He might as well be treated as a cheat code.
As a Venti haver, I can say hes REALLY enjoyable, especially if u do daily missions, u use ur ult and u watch everything just die. I personally dont have Kazuha and will not get him ever cause i dont like him as a character. Venti CAN do a lot versus heavy enemies, they shouldnt though move that much. All in all amazing character!
6:50 i think that him not being able to suck in large bosses and that you have to position yourself actually makes it engaging and more fun, rather than just mindlessly shooting his burst and everything just gets sucked in.
I’ve used Venti in every abyss since I got him but I don’t think I’ve ever used him on floor 12. Ganyu + Venti is such an OP combo but doesn’t work super well on single target, and there’s always a single target chamber on floor 12.
I joined the game around his rerun. This guy was my first 5* and he got me through almost the whole Mondstadt archon quest all the way to Sumeru. He made the early challenges easy.

Jello I don't care what anybody says I'm like you I'm pulling for Venti because I've never had him and I always wanted to get him because he makes some of my teams OP on my account and yes I have Kazuha, so for people saying I don't need him just save your breath I'm pulling for him anyway. I've already pre-farmed materials and I've had his signature 5 star weapon for quite some time (Skyward Harp) so it's just inevitable as Agent Smith would say lol.....
I would like to break my F2P account just to pull for venti, I really like venti design, VA is amazing too, and his kit is pretty useful and I heard he's pretty easy to build like you dont need a lot of invesment to build him.. Anyway, someday I will pull for him when he gets another rerun.. as for now I'm saving for Furina of course..
I got Venti on his last rerun (I mainly wanted Kuki's C2 but also wanted to give the OG Morgana team a try) I will say he's often very nice for clearing floors 9-11 quickly. Venti on one half Kazuha on the other is quite nice.
I’m pulling Venti. 77 Pity, guaranteed. Already pulled to gold on standard banner and still no sucrose. My only anemo is Lynett. But single target shred isn’t super useful. I really want him for the domains in Mondstadt and Lyue with the million waves of small slimes and mobs that are super annoying to cleave down, or hit with my Lyney because they always jump right as I shoot and miss 😐😐 Should make them faster, and I spend 50x more time in domains and open world then I do in abyss or boss fights. Also Kazuha is who knows how many months from now
So, i'm trying to decide who to pull for. I want Hu Tao (because of design and power) and I pulled and lost my 50/50 to Keqing (who I'm liking quite a bit with DMC, Ficshl, and Jean). I've worked with my way back up to 74 pity and can get her now if I want her. BUT! I have a half built Lyney that kinda fills her role and I don't have a grouper (newish account, no Kazuha or Sucrose). Jean is really my only VV. ATM I'm saving for Venti because he might only be 80% as good as Kazuha, he's 100% better than no Kazuha. Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
I would say if you need another VV user + CC now, get Venti. Kazuha will not come back until next year probably Summer because he just had his rerun on June. By the time Kazuha comes back, you probably have enough primos to get him too
As someone who missed Kazuha during his 2.8 rerun (his first banner since I started playing) 'cause I got Qiqi'd, I'm really glad I got Venti on his 3.1 rerun rather than waiting around for another 9-or-so months for Kazuha. Even now that I have Kazuha, there's still plenty of reason to use Venti. I'm farming the Gilded/Deepwood domain atm and Venti is by far the best character in the game for it. The burning combo of Venti, Bennett and Nahida shred through the enemies, and the last slot can be a bunch of different characters (I personally use DPS Barbara most of the time). Also, even though he's not usually very good in abyss 12, he's often really strong in limited-time combat events, where I like to use him with characters like Ganyu or Lisa that have pseudo-quadratic scaling (Lisa only gets pseudo-quadratic scaling at C4 btw). Also, his hold E can turn anyone into a plunge attack DPS ;P
I'm pulling for Venti for sure in 4.1.2. I love Kazuha but never loved Sucrose. Even though I built her to 90, with 8/8/8 talents and 4 piece VV, I just find her grouping lack-luster. If you're new to Genshin - Venti is basically a must pull. He trivializes most early content.
After so long I undusted Venti and put him with Wanderer, Faruzan c6 and Bennett. Venti is very fun, kinda hard to play without shield but I want to for the fun factor alone
Tbh I use Venti more than Kazuha because Venti makes my life easier, Kazuha is just more damage when I already have more than enough damage to 36 star...
I feel like I already have too many Anemo units: Sucrose C6, Faruzan C6, Lynette C6, Kazuha, Wanderer, Heizo... But I still want Venti for my Gun Yuu team.
I felt like I needed him because for my almost 3 years of playing this game I never got him. I finally got him on 30 pity today and I have no regrets on pulling for him ^^

Neuvillette is buff in this abyss. Many characters can clear the abyss solo, Neuvillette can heal himself so it's easier with him than with Ganyu (even if she can do it too). I have seen someone who use Ganyu (C0 4 stars bow) solo first part and Neuvillette solo second part in Floor 12 4.1.

@@nope8798 Maybe you’re infusing the wrong element? 15 energy is a lot, for 80 cost bursts that’s 1/5 of all your energy needs cut off the top.

Sometimes I have more trouble on floor 11 with big mobs than I do on floor 12, since I lack strong crowd control without Venti.
They aren’t stopping with the heavies though let’s be honest.

I like to run Venti with Ayaka, Ganyu, and Kokomi. Kazuha is often on the other team, and Ayaka has her burst off cooldown every time.

As a C6 haver I can definitely say that his C6 is the best. It pretty much has 100% uptime, more practical and easy to proc, and doesnt even need to be on field.

An oft overlooked fact is that a lot of the Inazuma enemies that couldn't be CC'd were nerfed when Sumeru came out, so they can be CC'd again. The roster of enemies that Venti can affect is much larger than people think!
Venti will work in about 50% of the time in abyss 12. And when he does work he is completely and utterly broken. I think that's enough to justify pulling him if you enjoy his character. I like playing him with Yoimiya as they cover each other's main weaknesses, and Yoi does contribute a decent amount with her burst. I play them with Yelan and Diona, and with cryo infusion you can do like 50k on every enemy in the burst per tick.
There's also the times where Floor 11-1 is super cringe (Whopperflowers and Slimes) where having a powerful grouper can be really nice.

Imo Venti value in single target is very underrated. The 15 energy refund is really strong specially in teams where you have more than one character of the same element getting the refund. The extra energy allows you to run more offensive substats without messing up your rotation. If you build him for crit he also does pretty respectable damage (very similar to kazuha if I'm not mistaken).
Most of the tines against non ventiable content he won't be better than Kazuha/Sucrose but he definitely isn't far behind them.
He can't be worse than Sucrose if the team doesn't need EM at all.
Maybe I am wrong but she is so useless in some teams and her damage are just trash so if the team doesn't need EM like freeze and mono team she feel useless.
@@Camelia437 In Freeze and mono teams, she isn’t great. The only buff she gives there are VV and her C6.
Though, her burst grouping is actually substantially better in freeze because it can’t knock enemies upwards.
@@tonydai782 My Sucrose is only C2. She take too much time on field too and Ayaka need to stay on field so it is really a big issue too in freeze team.
Sucrose is also a very powerful driver for tazer teams but this is often overlooked.

Yeah people keep saying "when he works" but he's always worked, even for enemies that don't get lifted, they STILL get pulled in, that's more than enough grouping. Add on his energy refund to not only the team but HIMSELF, his ER ascension, and great weapon choice I find it quite weird that people sleep on him as much as they do. Literally testing 2 teams, one using Kaz the other using venti, both teams clear abyss in roughly the same time, and in almost all cases Venti pulls ahead.

I love Venti. I've been using him since the day I got him. and I have his c1 and planning to get c2. I pulled for the First Great Magic for him and a c6 Faruzan and i've never been happy. Venti all the way.

I think Venti just suffers from the existence of Kazuha. Realistically, Zhongli is a very similar character with a similar place with the worst situation for Venti, but you don’t have another King of Shields, and even held off on releasing the Zhongli challenger, Kokomi, until much later in the version (and she can’t crit rip). But in the version Kazuha released with, Venti was heavily nerfed to prop him up. Now the impression of Kazuha’s CC being better than Venti’s has set in, it’s hard to convince people that Venti remains the only king of CC, and Kazuha honestly doesn’t challenge him in that regard.

Tbh, i did pull for kazuha, yes. But for exploration (venti + Kazuha is really nice to get slightly more height). I don't actually use him that much in abyss. Venti however...he was my first archon, he's my absolute favorite character and was my first lvl 90 character. Him, Wanderer, Layla and Bennett were the biggest reason i even completed the spiral abyss floor 12 the first time. He helps me with bennett's er, giving me the ability to give bennett a little less er and more hp so he can still heal a good bit.

@@ahmedbraham3327 Wrio is going to get a rerun before Venti does (they've been doing this with the new units, they all get at least 1 rerun before the new nation comes, and the latest units that got released near the end of the current nation will get their rerun at the beginning of the next nation), so if you really want Venti, it might be better to get him now.

Btw Lyney is the same boat as Yoimiya- Kazuha is great for mono teams but I like Venti because I don't have to run in to vv shred and run back out. He also allows what little aoes Lyney has to perform better (his skill, burst, and taunt explosions) which makes it feel a lot better to use him in aoe. It's very minor preferences but I'm enjoying them no less. Especially against the current 12-1-A boss- I just hate running after bosses and it feels more inconvenient when the floor becomes electro and can ruin your infusion on Kazu as well as damage you or overload you..
As a Yoimiya main, I really hate group content, and love Venti's tornado compared to how Kazuha plays so I've been saving for him for a while!

His ability, the HOLD version is simply bad/useless. Its been reeinveted/outdated/powercrept specially in-battle but also even in overworld too with gadgets and not being able to use while airborne as his nemesis Kazuha or even Xiao do.
Venti could give a attack speed bonus (suitable for the good of wind) buff that would be very good, unique and a reason to chose him outside that ridiculousness his ultimate do. Competing even with kazuha for bio some scenarios regardless the Grouping. Barbatos lacks that 100% ability uptime every other archon have nowadays and an extra effect is a much more balanced way to increase his usage/performance outside any form of personal damage increase
When you say he is useful for lower floors, do you mean 9&10&11 right? If he is good except floor12 I think he is very much worth it.

@IDKbruh420 to be frank, Kazuha's pull sometimes feels off to me, based on my experience, when Kazuha pulls enemies after he plunges, he slightly pushes away the enemies which causes them to ran away again from the point I grouped them and it sometimes makes me fail in some abyss floors compared to Venti's succ consistency because his burst has longer duration and longer range. I get that Kazuha's pull can be achieved more frequently than Venti's ulti but if you have enough energy recharge for Venti (180-200) that interval is not a problem.
Last Abyss Cycle's F11 made me realise how much I want Venti. 11-1's Monolith made me run two Anemo groupers. I already had Kazuha, so 1st side was a cakewalk with Ayaka freeze team, but for 2nd I HAD to use Sucrose National to even have a chance at getting 3 stars. If I had Venti at that point, I could run literally any team, and his succ would be enough to keep the Monolith safe
Really wanted Venti, but figured I'd skip him considering the quality of the four stars on the current banner. But the gambler in me wanted to do just one cheeky 10 pull. He came home early, 3 pity in!
furina will most definitely get a rerun, some people speculate in 4.6 so picking up the anemo archon may not be such a bad thing. Nevertheless, always pull who you want !

People can pry double Anemo CC from my cold dead hands... I usually run Kazuha 1 side and Venti other side for Abyss
Sucrose can CC too but she feels more clunky at times in comparison, so I prefer the other two

i got venti on the first rerun and after that i never regretted getting him... i still use him in everything especially in abyss hahaha.. not very hard to build and also his burst is up after 2 elemental skill so very nice. venti have very special place in my heart. from 1.0 till now i can say you need venti you'll never get tired of opening chest with him and

I have both kazuha and venti ryt now i can say I'm an end game player and i use venti more now since my dps/sub dps does a lot more damage yeah kazuha is good if your character s needs boost but if your main damage dealer is already well equiped it better to use venti ^^ cc is too valueble for late in the game XD

No, it's absolutely not. Value your funds more. Don't just roll randomly for whoever is archon. Not everyone is crazy archon collector. Some of them are easily skippable.

I really appreciate these videos they're extremely informative. Although I do have two small criticisms, they might be coming from personal bias so take them out leave them I love your videos regardless. First I think that people make it sound like Venti isn't at all viable in content where the enemy isn't “Ventiable", something I'm still not sure about since I've heard people say he works and I've heard people say he's useless, that's the reason I clicked this video to begin with, I don't have him and wanted to know if I can use him in the higher Abyss floors, but no one discusses that and it's just the same thing about him being best against small enemies and not against large enemies. Secondly I feel like no video on TH-cam can go without mentioning how Kazuha is more fun to play than Venti, anytime that there's a discussion about Venti VS Kazuha. I think fun is something highly subjective and doesn't have a place in videos like this, since it also might discourage people from getting something they otherwise would've liked. There’s always the occasional abyss where venti is amazing, a few abysses ago he was really good on floor 12 first half, right now I’m hearing he’s good on floor 12 second half. I have no the venti and Kazuha and have more fun with venti personally.

Hello, venti main here.
He is certainly not useless, but that's moreso if you want to play him. He's not the best option, but he's not the worst either.
Something to keep in mind is that you need to get a feel for his burst before you can use him efficiently. A lot of times i've heard people saying that he won't be able to group the enemies in x scenario, but i managed to do it. He often feels like shit to play until you figure out your exact positioning, but doing so feels rewarding.
Another thing to ask yourself is "do i do enough damage already?". If the answer is no, then venti isn't ideal. But if the answer is yes, you can use him in basically any scenario when you would use kazuha. Even against a boss, he still gives you vv shred and energy back. That's still something.
Tl;dr He's mostly a character you pull for if you like, not to improve your account. If you get him, you will be able to use him in floor 12, he just won't be ideal most likely. Although when he is ideal... uhm. Let's just say he makes the impossible possible. He might as well be treated as a cheat code.

As a Venti haver, I can say hes REALLY enjoyable, especially if u do daily missions, u use ur ult and u watch everything just die. I personally dont have Kazuha and will not get him ever cause i dont like him as a character. Venti CAN do a lot versus heavy enemies, they shouldnt though move that much. All in all amazing character!
6:50 i think that him not being able to suck in large bosses and that you have to position yourself actually makes it engaging and more fun, rather than just mindlessly shooting his burst and everything just gets sucked in.
I’ve used Venti in every abyss since I got him but I don’t think I’ve ever used him on floor 12. Ganyu + Venti is such an OP combo but doesn’t work super well on single target, and there’s always a single target chamber on floor 12.
I joined the game around his rerun. This guy was my first 5* and he got me through almost the whole Mondstadt archon quest all the way to Sumeru. He made the early challenges easy.

I would like to break my F2P account just to pull for venti, I really like venti design, VA is amazing too, and his kit is pretty useful and I heard he's pretty easy to build like you dont need a lot of invesment to build him.. I got Venti on his last rerun (I mainly wanted Kuki's C2 but also wanted to give the OG Morgana team a try) I will say he's often very nice for clearing floors 9-11 quickly. Venti on one half Kazuha on the other is quite nice.

I’m pulling Venti. 77 Pity, guaranteed. Already pulled to gold on standard banner and still no sucrose. My only anemo is Lynett. But single target shred isn’t super useful. I really want him for the domains in Mondstadt and Lyue with the million waves of small slimes and mobs that are super annoying to cleave down, or hit with my Lyney because they always jump right as I shoot and miss 😐😐 Should make them faster, and I spend 50x more time in domains and open world then I do in abyss or boss fights. Also Kazuha is who knows how many months from now
So, i'm trying to decide who to pull for. I want Hu Tao (because of design and power) and I pulled and lost my 50/50 to Keqing (who I'm liking quite a bit with DMC, Ficshl, and Jean). I've worked with my way back up to 74 pity and can get her now if I want her. BUT! I have a half built Lyney that kinda fills her role and I don't have a grouper (newish account, no Kazuha or Sucrose). Jean is really my only VV.
ATM I'm saving for Venti because he might only be 80% as good as Kazuha, he's 100% better than no Kazuha. Thoughts?

I would say if you need another VV user + CC now, get Venti. Kazuha will not come back until next year probably Summer because he just had his rerun on June.
By the time Kazuha comes back, you probably have enough primos to get him too
As someone who missed Kazuha during his 2.8 rerun (his first banner since I started playing) 'cause I got Qiqi'd, I'm really glad I got Venti on his 3.1 rerun rather than waiting around for another 9-or-so months for Kazuha. Even now that I have Kazuha, there's still plenty of reason to use Venti.
I'm farming the Gilded/Deepwood domain atm and Venti is by far the best character in the game for it. The burning combo of Venti, Bennett and Nahida shred through the enemies, and the last slot can be a bunch of different characters (I personally use DPS Barbara most of the time).
Also, even though he's not usually very good in abyss 12, he's often really strong in limited-time combat events, where I like to use him with characters like Ganyu or Lisa that have pseudo-quadratic scaling (Lisa only gets pseudo-quadratic scaling at C4 btw).
Also, his hold E can turn anyone into a plunge attack DPS ;P
I'm pulling for Venti for sure in 4.1.2. I love Kazuha but never loved Sucrose. Even though I built her to 90, with 8/8/8 talents and 4 piece VV, I just find her grouping lack-luster.
If you're new to Genshin - Venti is basically a must pull. He trivializes most early content.
After so long I undusted Venti and put him with Wanderer, Faruzan c6 and Bennett. Venti is very fun, kinda hard to play without shield but I want to for the fun factor alone

I feel like I already have too many Anemo units: Sucrose C6, Faruzan C6, Lynette C6, Kazuha, Wanderer, Heizo... But I still want Venti for my Gun Yuu team.
Tbh I really like using his wind current for bosses, since I have a physical gorou he does really good damage when plunging over and over.
i build Venti with hybrid build; 4pcs VV crit build and Windblume Ode bow.. he hits so hard even if against single target enemy/boss..
I felt like I needed him because for my almost 3 years of playing this game I never got him. I finally got him on 30 pity today and I have no regrets on pulling for him ^^

All this Neuvillete videos soloing abyss at C0 with minimal investment is ruining the game and it makes me sick.
Neuvillette is buff in this abyss. Many characters can clear the abyss solo, Neuvillette can heal himself so it's easier with him than with Ganyu (even if she can do it too).
I have seen someone who use Ganyu (C0 4 stars bow) solo first part and Neuvillette solo second part in Floor 12 4.1.
