People don't understand why we are polytheist? The best part of Hinduism is , it is a far more extensive culture . It is a way of living in harmony with nature. Hinduism has cracked the code of belief system. The power of believing can make you overcome fear of failure in work or other things but as you see in basic format Hinduism is simplest to understand and to understand Hinduism it is most complex because it gives space to every thought and belief. Eating flesh is prohibited but in certain circumstances it is acceptable. Worshipping other gods is acceptable but understanding that each of these gods is nothing but 1. Actually according to my knowledge in Hinduism there are not 33 million gods and goddesses it's actually just a total of 33 deities. In ancient puran it says that there are 33 koti deities, here the word koti is written in Sanskrit and it means forms of deities. There are actually a total of 33 deities and koti is not crore as everyone suggests.

This is why I don't fear that Sanatan Dharma, the Eternal Truth, will ever be wiped away by the conversionist/power-hungry tactics of the Abrahamic religions.
