This may come off as a blanketed statement, but the production value of this podcast is easily the best in the game. The animations, the camera switches, the edits, no other podcast comes close. Plus Rick is just hilarious.

Jesus christ, how the hell did I sleep on Rick Glassman this long?! The 1st episode of this podcast I watched was Bill Burr's and I've been watching non-stop since.

I know Rick doesn't want to move to NYC, but there really is a vibe when he talks to East Coast comics that just hits differently.
I think they can handle his demeanor more because of how east coast people are. Vs more sensitive people in CA. I’m from CA for perspective. I just fell in love with east coast people cause of the upfront in your face vibe they give. They can handle asshole rick

@dliguori25 there were a couple points where Soder was out of his comfort zone which was fun to see him lean into it. Soder is hyperaware of being hacky or a cheese ball and hates being told to "dance" by anyone. Like when he had Soder come out from behind the curtain, that's not Soder's typical wheelhouse. It's good for him to do it though. Soder has been on the brink of breaking big for a decade but hasn't quite done it, even after a huge HBO special, and I think it's because he won't usually go out of his comfort zone. This podcast was great for him.

This episode was so hilarious. I related so much to almost every story they talked about, like Rick's food obsession I am the exact same and also about Dan's dad because my dad also passed away from hep c due to cirrhosis of the liver from drinking too much when I was 7. The entire episode was incredible but the ending was hilarious to me I couldn't breathe because of how hard I was laughing 🤣🙏♥️

I’ve listened to every TYSO episode and for some reason this just hit me in the feels. Obviously have heard of Dan but never heard his stand up or any other content. I've watched at least 90% of TYSO episodes. I'm a fan of Dan Soder. This has been my favorite episode and that's not an easy title to take with so many great eps. ***obviously commenting as I watch but as someone with a relatively severe case of Crohn's disease that I've been carrying around since 06 (arms tired etc etc), trust me on this: pick up a cheap double pack of enemas at your local walgreens for when you have severe constipation. It feels weird and uncomfortable when you're using it, but the relief is unmatched. I've got the typical Crohn's where it's the opposite of constipation, however there have been some hellish ups and downs where constipation has been a major problem at times. Hope that helps fellas I love ya
