I watched this a few days ago and forgot to comment. Very cool Halloween layout, Ed. Can't wait to see the Christmas layout. It will be here before you know it. 🎅 I had a click on one of my steam engines, it was one of the eccentric rods tapping on a driver rod.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful Hallowe'en layout, Ed. I love the way you have of cramming so much interest into your model railroads. The charming and odd cardboard buildings toward the front are from the "Pineville" series of inexpensive early post-war "O"-ish gauge accessories that were marketed through Montgomery-Ward stores. They were very popular with those who ran Marx and Lionel layouts, and had several nice buildings on offer. Sal
Awesome! Many Thanx for the info Sal! I bought them over a span of several years from fleaBay sellers who didn't have any information on them. It's always great to have some background info on the toys I collect. Thanx for tuning in and Happy Halloween!
Many Thanx Matt! I told myself I wasn't gonna pull out a lot of stuff this year and ended up doing it anyway! 😆I love all the toys and details, they're just too much fun not to have them out!
Many Thanx Al! I like the 'fun' side of Halloween - I refuse to watch slash-&-gore horror movies. I'm more like the Debbie Reynolds Halloween Town or Casper kind of Halloween person! 😄 I also love making pumpkin seeds. The granddaughter carves the pumpkin, then she helps get all the seeds out and I do the baking (I just made a batch yesterday)
Enjoyed the set up. Cool movie figures. The buildings look great. Love the train and the sound effects. I shouted Dementor when you couldn’t remember. I’m glad you heard me. LOL. Happy model railroading! 🚂😎👍🏼
LOL - I must've heard you - that's the only way it could've come to me! I was just watching Harry potter again last night 😄Thanx for tuning in and I'm glad you enjoyed the layout and the video!
Pretty spooky Ed! Sometimes I wish you had more room. Your creativity could fill a larger layout. Vanilla flavored smoke juice is supposed to be wife friendly.
Thanx Ken! With all the Halloween stuff still out in The Cave, I could easily do a 4'x12' layout - or larger! My wife is weird - she's a smoker, but yet the scented smoke from the trains 'stink'. FORTUNATELY she does her smoking outside (I don't smoke - nasty habit!)
That's a really great and suitable Halloween layout. We spotted the Mystery Machine and checked out our SPOOKY HALLOWEEN video on my grandson's Dylington Model Railway channel. He's done a stop-motion animation video featuring Scooby doo and the gang. Great video...cheers James 🙂👍
@@DYLINGTONMODELRAILWAY many thanx! I am w-a-y behind in catching up to TH-cam videos and comments. I’ll be sure to check out your grandsons Scooby Doo video. As old as I am, Scooby is one of my favorites!
Outstanding layout. Great train.
Thanx Paul! Lionel has some really cool Halloween trains!

Marx guy here, in 1958 there was a record released entitled "Dinner With Drack", you would appreciate.
Hmmmm, never heard of that one before - I'll have to check it out! Many Thanx!

Awesome Halloween layout Ed 👍 that layout is a little spooky 😕 Great job 👍
Many thanx Ed! These seasonal layouts are fun to do and Halloween is probably the most funnerer!😅
cool ed .ours are more a play board vs a train board.
The board this layout is set up on also doubles as a play board when I pull out the little green army men
Very cute SPOOKY layout. Like the Sta Puff Marsh Mallow man.
Many Thanx! He's a nice touch and he's a good fit for a small set-up like this. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Very nice! 🎃🎃🎃
Thank you!
