    As a parra fan, I agree, too. We've been pretty busy signing some pleyers in our backline that I'm really excited with, and we haven't even gotten another front rower to replace rcg in our forward pack I do hope Ryles does get another prop otherwise our forward pack is going to smashed through the middle we should be going after Leo Thompson from the Knights unless Ryles does have a plan and probably other thing would be another dummy half

    Broncos weakness hasn't changed since last year but it went 10x this year. Outside backs, centres and wingers who make stupid defensive decisions, have terrible defensive systems and make more errors combined then the entirety of half the league. Literally almost every time an attacking team went down a Broncos edge, it ended up in points, slide defence having to cover or they would make 70m because they give them too much space. (I was paying close attention to how often it happened in the backend of the season)
    Not to mention their inability to catch a contested kick, leading to constant trys off kicks and repeat sets due to dropped kicks. The wingers can't do their jobs at all.
    Now hopefully with Ben Hunt in the club the leadership around the spine is fixed because last year a half didn't touch the ball for 60minutes a game.

    You're right with Manly, at best on there day they can hold their own but all to often they get dominated with nothing coming off the bench to add impact

      I think this year Navale takes a big jump which will help to negate that, one of those teams that if they get hot at the right time, could be very hard to stop

      @@trademarksports Navale seems like a good prospect, but it won't fix the cohesion problem the forwards. I'll give an eg which really stood out. Nathan Browns off the back fence runs started to inject venom into the forward, but he was left on his own. someone should run with him for offloads [he does pass the ball] or quick play the balls for the next run. Eventually Browns runs deteriorated back to substandard running.
      Maybe If Dce announces his retirement early in the year that could rally something within the group. Time will tell.

    Broncos have a culture issue with the whole mam thing, but Maguire is fixing that
    I think the dolphins have planned pretty well for life after Wayne, but yeah, u make some good points
    Melbourne's weakness is that they struggle to keep upcoming players due to more popular players getting more game time (hynes getting let go)
    As we've seen, Penrith have the best junior system in the comp. Losing JFH and romey won't be a problem

    As a Parra supporter I do agree the forward pack is the Eels weakness there’s a few good forwards in their but a lot aren’t elite. I also think our halves combination is one of the best in the comp but I wouldn’t say the best I’d say Storm would be 1st the Panthers would be above Parra just because of Nathan Cleary, I know Talagi is unproven at 6 but I’d say they’re arguably 2nd, so I’d say Parra would have the 3rd best halves combination or maybe a little bit lower

    • @trademarksports
      @trademarksports  4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yeah 100%, there is a good crop of younger forwards tho at the eels who could very well make the jump up I.e Guymer. Eels will be a very interesting watch this season

    Cowboys is a tough one because you're right, losing the amount of experience that they have is never a good thing. But then i look at there 2024 season and go well the one thing that legit stopped them winning the comp imo was there defence (no one could handle there attack) and for me, you look at a guy like Val Holmes and hes one of the experienced guys theyve lost but he was also by far and away there biggest issue in defence this year. I love Val but he was absolutely shocking defensively in 2024 and was responsible for so many points leaked. So does the loss of that experience actually hurt them? Or does bringing a Laybutt in in his place who we know will atleast be solid, improve them defensively instead? Such a facinating watch honestly

    • @trademarksports
      @trademarksports  4 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Completely agree, Holmes is a weird one because he’s usually a great well rounded centre but was caught out time and time again defensively last year
      In a way, getting some new blood into the side might be exactly what the cowboys need

      @@farazalam5772 they scored the second most points of any team in the game last year? They had 2 blokes in there team who went 20+ try assists. Even tbe best defensive team in the comp (penrith) had absolutely no answers to the cowboys attack. Cows turned it on in a 20 minute period in the first game against penrith and completely blew them off the park. Averaged 30 points a game. I dont think i overexagerated that at all. It was there defence that cost them any chance

      @@farazalam5772 the second best defensive team in the comp (bulldogs) had 40 points put on them by the cowboys. They had nothing. The Cowboys picked apart the best defensive centre in the game and made him look like a schoolboy. Cant deny there attack was incredible

    Can definitely tell you wear sunglasses a lot man haha, now you gotta do a video of every teams strengths.
    I reckon broncos will be the wildcard next year, they can't afford a repeat of this year, so much experience between reynolds and hunt, I think that will make the difference.

    I would disagree
    I think tigers biggest weakness is also expectations they've got a winning mentality now it's pretty clear from the interviews that everyone wants to compete on that level
    The raw expectations of "the tigers will make the 8/4" can be absolutely crazy and a lot to put in a very young team they very well could thrive on the expectations but still I've seen way to many people saying the 8

    • @trademarksports
      @trademarksports  3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It’s very easy to say at this time of year they want to compete and win, I’m concerned if they get off to a poor start or lose a couple in a row there heads will go down, I hope they don’t, but I think that’s their biggest challenge this year tbh

    You dont know football.
    If you've ever played than you would know you cant win many games without a halfback. You so called expert's are hopeless, chuck the blokes bar boys in there too. Without a halfback every single other player has to become a halfback also to help the team score.
    With a proper halfback, everyone can play in thier positions properly.
    Penrith can fill in players because Nathan is so good that the players learn where they have too be and the players make it easier on the fill in half by running the perfect N.Cleary lines.
    Point is you can only train as good as your halfback. When a team wins the grand final with a shit halfback( its never happened) well not for a longtime.
    My opinion is whatever team has the shottest halfs pairing will get the wooden spoon.
    Tigers had always had the worst halfs until now.

    • @trademarksports
      @trademarksports  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      You’re right, it’s very difficult to be competitive without a half. In the same breath, it’s very hard to be an effective half with a poor forward pack. If the halfback was the sole issue, dragons wouldn’t of missed the finals since 2018, the sharks wouldn’t of won the comp in 2016 (respectfully to Townsend, he’s never really been top 5 half in his career)
      If you’re pouring all of the tigers downfalls over the last 5-6 seasons on poor halves, then you don’t know football.

    • @adamblack5374
      @adamblack5374 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @trademarksports All I said was you can't win alot of games without good halfs.
      How is having the worst halfs in comp not a reason too get the wooden spoon????
      Yes forward's but I've never seen a team win the comp with shit halfs and awesome forward's 😂😂
      You can have the Australian forward pack if you want in your team, it's all useless if you get up the other end and can't score points or your halfback is just making poor decisions costing your team energy, mental energy. This can be taxing on the whole squad.
