Crushed a 6 pack in 1 hour and feeling GREAT!!!

I don't often catch 6 redfish in one day. And this is the first time I have caught this many in under an hour of walking the grass flats. Chatterbait in tow, I got 6 nice ones just before a rain shower.

Glad you dig the channel! I’m not doing any kind of guiding at the moment. Music stuff is getting most of my time this year. I think there are probably some good fly fishing guides in this area that can take you to spots and help with strategies. Keep in mind that this many fish in one trip is very out of the ordinary. Early mornings are good, and if you can’t go early, try to make sure that the tide is at least halfway in. It’s not that fish can’t be caught on the flats during low tide, but lots of times those low lows knock everything off the flat to deeper water. 😎
