I'm an English nerd, so I really like symbolism and things like that. This is a major reason that I absolutely love the repeated use of the chessboard, demonstrating the fact that King Orange saw every character and every obstacle as just a different piece on the chessboard, a piece to be taken to help advance Orange to meeting his goal. I especially like how it is used as symbolism in relation to purple and the different episodes of AvM specifically, especially with the very next scene in both instances being one that includes Orange as a main part of the animation. It seems to understate every character and the many great things they have done with Minecraft as just as obsolete or vulnerable as chess pieces. Very good work with the symbolism in this animation!
Absolutely brilliant work. I really like how the video and Alan's history complement each other, especially King's feeling and drama. This is heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. I hope that Alan will not only continue to delight us with a new history, but will develop the purple and King's relations. Ukrainians give our greetings to the legend of animation ;)

Honestly, this is fire. The music and he animation?! The drawings?! It matches the real one so well, the height of the characters? The detail? And don’t forget to mention the human versions, they are very well drawn, they didn’t just add no hats and no accessories they actually did and even the small details like the blood and shadows, I showed this to my friend she got OBSESSED so she told me to send a video so she can listen to it everyday
It’s so weird to see human versions of these characters because the way I see these characters is that their whole thing is being really simple But the human designs look really good

This was an amazing animation! I absolutely loved it! I have something else to say but if you don't want your experience to get ruined then this is it. Okay, I warned you. Although everything was on point, there was just one bit that was a little off, and the moment I realized has been triggering me since. On this part 1:55 the King is shooting with his staff the dots, however, those dots only come out if he is using the command block and in this case, he's using the Minecraft Game Icon nor the "singularity" block. This is something you maybe didn't realize but I did and I regret it :/ It triggers me because it doesn't go with what the staff has, that's it. I hope this doesn't bother you or maybe you can fix it.

This is literally the whole story of the animation, is amazing so some other people are still new to alan becker, they can watch a short video with japanese song to catch up to the whole story, but i prefer watching the whole entire episodes of it, but still... is a good reference to the whole episodes, so pls, make more of this :)
