I wanted to say thank you, this is EXACTLY the technique I have been waiting for, needle tatting but NOT, a way to create petals with yarn to use with yarn projects!!! Thank you! As always, your work is beautiful and your imagination is endless 🙂
Heyyy Jeanne, how are you? So nice to see you here! 🌸 Thanks a bunch for your lovely compliments, you're too sweet, thank you very much. Actually, I didn't exactly invent the method I used to create the petals, I just adapted a technique used with knitting yarn for embroidery. I'll be showing some really interesting methods soon. I'm even amazed by the results myself. The cast-on stitch technique is going to be a breeze, I promise! 💫
@@ankaila 😊 I am looking forward to seeing more of your ideas and how you use them to create such inspirational pieces. I am really enjoying how you break down the steps, showing us that your finished creations, which look very difficult, are actually very attainable for the beginner. Your gardens in stitching are amazing! 💐
I work slowly, but I'm determined. I'll be making more videos from now on. I have a lot of ideas in my mind, but unfortunately, preparing video lessons takes up a lot of my time.
@@ankaila I understand that "videos take time" thing and I think you are doing a great job! I will wait patiently here, cheering you on, because I KNOW those ideas in your head are worth the wait! Keep up the great work! ✨🪡🌷🌻🌱
I'm really glad you like it, thank you.😊 Do you think it's an issue that I'm speeding up the video? If I were to show everything at normal speed, it would result in a two-hour-long video that nobody would watch. Additionally, breaking it into segments because I'm mostly demonstrating an unfamiliar technique makes it hard to understand. What approach do you think would be best?
Thank you so much for asking my opinion. Since you do have full tuts on how to make the different components, in a video like this one, you have no choice but to speed it up. The time lapse is appropriate , you don’t have to show each and every step. I can tell you though, if I was the only person watching, I would want to see the entire video ‼️😂
Amiga primeramente te quiero felicitar por hacer tan bellos trabajo, están hermosos y que buena creatividad tienes me encantan tus trabajos espero que mirando tus videos pueda aprender algo de lo que haces 😀

Hello ,i am so happy for your immediate response, many many thanks for your superb creations, which is a great source of inspiration for me.❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊.
Hello, thank you so much for subscribing. You're very kind. It's great to see you here. But you've put a great responsibility on me now. I need to create even more beautiful embroideries to not disappoint you 😄
Thank you so much for the advice! I worked on this project quite spontaneously, so the measurements were done by eye. It was purely intended as inspiration to show embroidery enthusiasts how they could use this technique. I realize now that it wasn't very explanatory for beginners. To address this, I'll try to add subtitles. I'll also make sure to include measurements and thread counts in my future videos. Thanks again!
I used a locally sourced cotton thread equivalent to 6-strand DMC embroidery floss to create the petals of these roses. You can achieve the same result with just a single strand of embroidery thread. Since this is a small piece, the petals are small. For larger sizes, increase the number of thread strands.
In this video, I used yarns purchased from local handicraft stores for the flowers and roses you see. You may not find the same brand, but if you work with 2 strands of DMC embroidery floss, you can achieve similar results. Using thin thread when creating rose petals yields good results. If you tightly hold the petal between your fingers for a while, it will become nicely pressed and take on a flat shape.
