I have a question about stacking on the nns. Let’s say I stake 50 icp for 8 years and as I add more icp to the neuron does my voting and rewards increase as well. If so did the initial 50 icp stake lock in the interest rate for that neuron.
Im dutch so it is al little bit harder to unferstand all. I want to stake my 2950 ICP coins. If I stake 8 years and no dissolving Nothing will happen right after 8 years my ICP are still locked? And when I stake it for 8 years and also start dissolving now, my coins will unlocked in 8 years?
Another question; do i have to vote to earn staking rewards or can I leave my coins and earn a passive income every Month with staking and no actions.

So you can add more ICP to your neuron after you have staked for 8 years? Will you also receive the same percentage of rewards by increasing the amount of ICP you add to your neuron?
For example if you increase your staked ICP from 1200 to 2500 will you earn the same percentage as your initial stake?
Exactly. Let's see two hypothetical scenarios. Both scenarios assume that you vote on all proposals either manually, or by following.
A) You create a 100 ICP neuron with 8 year dissolve delay. You later create a second 200 ICP neuron with also 8 year dissolve delay.
B) You create a 100 ICP neuron with 8 year dissolve delay. You later add another 200 ICP to the same neuron.
Scenarios A and B are equivalent with respect to how much voting rewards you're expected to receive.

When staking on the nns my rewards im automatically compound does that eventually gains me more rewards right now im getting .42 a day
Staking maturity will increase your voting power, and therefore give you more voting rewards. In the NNS Neuron Sandbox (mentioned in the video) if you click "Stake Maturity" there is a checkbox to "Auto-stake maturity". Using that you can see how your voting power, and maturity changes over time.
The only thing you forgot to mention is how to sell your maturity. At first glance one might believe that you can't.
Spawning maturity into a new neuron was mentioned around 9:10. That is the process by which you can get liquid ICP from maturity.
Having to lock your crypto assets in a smart contract for native staking is dumb. 8 years is crazy dumber.
