Actually someone else asked to do Kayin first, but I will be making Eiji's story mode playthrough in Battle Arena Toshinden Remix at some point, which also includes every lose/alternative endings.
Yeah, Duke's AI really likes to spam Death/Cyclone, especially on harder difficulties. But I think that's a good thing because how slow and predictable that attack is. Southern Cross is way more dangerous attack because the chip damage + Duke literally becomes a homing rocket or something, lol.
Always preferred Kayin over Eiji (though as a blonde; never liked his orange hair). Ironic since I always preferred Ken over Ryu in the Street Fighter series
