It is so great seeing these country music pioneers but it also makes me sad as I look around the room and realize that so many of them are no longer with us. But I am grateful we have these videos to remember them by.
We were staying at a KOA campground in the 70s and Brother Oswald was playing music there. After he played my parents invited him to our camp for my birthday cake and ice cream. Os asked where we were from and if it was real homemade ice cream. He said he hadn’t had any in years. It was real homemade ice cream and he walked to camp with us It was a blast. Will never forget my birthday with Bro Oswald He was a great man.
