    Nice plant! Love how your hair accentuates the purple in your glasses. Thanks Nora!

    Great tips Nora....as usual! Will be transitioning my spider plant to leca soon too. Am sooooooo glad I have most of my plants in semi-hydro now. For me, the maintenance and care is so much cleaner and fun now and I don't even stress anymore when going away now! And NO MORE FUNGUS GNATS either yaaaaaaaaaaay!

    I've finally been able to get a spider plant (curly) to live. She's loving the leca! And my cats are finally leaving it alone!

    🙀Oh my goodness, Nora you have done it again…you know like, peeked into my mind.
    I have tried and failed again with this spider plant journey using leca. Now, after watching this
    Video, I think what I have been doing wrong (of course I have followed all the steps in the past vids)
    I have started with a much too young of a plant. Duh….my plants that I have killed didn’t have enough
    roots/tubers to star with. I was in such a hurry to have one inside my space with leca 😔.
    Well back to a better beginning.
    With a Queen of leca professor like you in charge, I know I could do this!!!!! TFS 🤗

    Thank you for mentioning how to decide it's time to transition from the Clonex to the Foliage Focus. I purchased both on your recommendation. I don't have the 3rd (Root) yet, but will get it some time soon because I'm very happy with the results I'm seeing. (I'm growing mostly in Pon but follow many, many of your tips with great success. Thank you!)

    Hi Nora, I’m happy to say that I’ve already done an experiment with some pieces of spider plant I literally yanked out of the garden and potted one up in leca S/H and one in aroid mix and the one in leca is winning hands down, (hooray for leca) and although I lost a few leaves and have a few brown tips on both plants I think that’s normal for these types of plants. Thanks for another great video with good tips and advice.

    Thanks for excellent videos. I have a question: can I place babies (without roots) of the sipder plant in leca? Thanks if you answer. I'm starting with some plants and I don't know much.

    Hi Nora! I haven't talked with you in a long time, you know, MS holds me back a lot, but I keep pushing .. you know, I've killed more spider plants than I can handle, at least 5 total, I'm going to give it another try with a small one this.. I believe it will do well this time because... believe it... you have put me on a journey just from watching, listening, and learning listening from your videos.. since then, I have completed 43 plants, "From dirt to Leca" and I have at least 23 more plants to transfer into leca. I did lose a few in the beginning, but I truly say .. I like your style!! Because it truly shows in all my plants in leca ... one more thing, Nora .. in the beginning, I killed all my moss poles. It wasn't me it was the MS ... Promise you will have a good report when I start a new moss pole or 2 ... thank you for all your hard work and continuing support for the plant community! Love you, God blessed you.🪴🌱🌿🪴🪴🌱🌿🪴💚💯

      What do you mean you killed all your moss poles? Do you mean that you killed all the plants on moss poles?

    • @lindadavis7021
      @lindadavis7021 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @MaryGatdula LOL I didn't keep them moist like I should have.. I packed the moss too tight ... I'm blaming the multiple sclerosis and lupus, trigeminal neuralgia, occipital neuralgia, and electric brain shocks. Sometimes, I can't concentrate on what I'm doing, and most I'm in pain, but I have gotten better with what I'm doing with my plant. Truly, I find joy, peace, and serenity in growing and taking care of them. About the plants that were on the moss poles did not die. They're growing nicely and trailing, so I really should propagate some cuttings and start over, but this time, with the clear sheeting on the back. Sorry for the long response. Love you all ❤️ 🪴🌱🪴🌿

      @@lindadavis7021 I'm sorry, but I cannot understand the "death" of a moss pole. I'm positively uncertain that you CAN kill a moss pole. I would think that you just have to rewet it and continue on. ??? I mean. I try not to let mine dry out, but it happens because I am the world's best at procrastination! But they have never "died". The plants continue to grow on them.
      I didn't do a very good job making my moss poles, but I did use the plastic backing, just not really enough moss. So I bought the next 4. They are clear plastic 'D' shaped and look way better than my diy ones. LOL It's a shame that the leftover supplies from my diy experiment are going to waste because I'm not going to make them again. I wish I could send the stuff to you!
      Anyway, I hope you will have some better days ahead. Take care!

    Nora as usual this video knocked it out of the park on the care for spider plants. Question for you. My spider plants are not producing babies and I don't know why. The root system is in great shape. It's thriving but no babies. Any idea what I can do to get those babies? I was finally able to get GrowthTechnology products and have been using them for the past 4-5 months. Your input is appreciated. I love all of your videos. They have been very instrumental in helping me transition all of my plants into Leca and I couldn't be happier. 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

      You are too kind Alfreda. I had this no babies problem for a long time as well. Tell me about your plant, how old is it, what is it growing in, light and humidity situation, give me the deets....

    I bought my spider plant 6 weeks ago. It has lots of brown tips. I plan to travel in a week. Can I transition it in LECA ? (I will be gone for 3 weeks and I want to keep it alive…)

    Hi, is it better for the pot to have holes on the side for air? Or does it not matter.

    • @TheLecaQueen
      @TheLecaQueen  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I prefer to have them because I beleive the improved aeration helps the roots.

    How much water do you put in the reservoir pot. I thought the roots in leca wth water will rot?
    I don't have that plastic semi clear pot with a lit of holes. What kind of pot is it called?
    Can I just use a pot with drainage holes and leca and water it periodically?
