    I watched this video 3 years ago and could not figure out the melody at all. Couldn't hear if notes were going up, down, or staying the same. Today I watched it again and after 3 years of practicing scales, chords, strums and learning to listen more carefully, I was easily able to find the melody. Patience and persistence have paid off. Mahalo nui Brad.

    Before I saw this video I thought you had to know right away which note comes next 🙃. Thank you for letting me know how to go about learning something I thought impossible to learn. You are a great teacher, I can't say it often enough!

      Nope! It's not always pretty. Just a seek-and-find note version! Everyone will find a process that works for them. You've just got to dive in and not be afraid to get dirty!

    thank you for making this video! I started to see some notes structure while figuring out the Twinkle Little Star. now learning ukulele won't be boring anymore.

    Thanks this helped me soooooo much. When I a sheet with chords on then eith lyrics some of then sound a bit off and you helped me alot making it sound not off

      I'll see what I can do about an overview. If you *really* want to learn how to do that, check out James Hill's course, The Ukulele Way. It's 60+ lessons about chord melody playing and it's great.
