As a 14 yr old teen who recently lost his father to cancer, I can say that this made me cry. Because it genuinely captures the essence of wanting to see your loved ones again. I'm not fishing for attention or anything, I just want to compliment the artist who had captured, and stored the essence of wanting to see a dead father figure again. Great job, hope you get better man.

To be honest I don't really know you or your story of how you lost your father but I'm sorry for your loss. When I was 27 my world fell apart and I had to move back home. Almost exactly one year to the day that I moved back home my dad passed away suddenly in his sleep. When he died I became an alcoholic it's been 8 years and tried to drink away the pain but it didn't work. I've now been sober for eight months now and your song hits home with me.

I lost a brother earlier this month which has been a horror in of itself for me but he also left behind a 9 year old son. Losing both my parents 2 years apart as an adult nearly destroyed me. I can't imagine being that young and losing a father. Thank you for this song it has given me some insight. Not sure what I will do with it yet.
