Very very interesting the guitar style is exactly identical to that of the Benga genre of music from the eastern shores of Lake Victoria in Kenya...... Now l do recall that a posting on the social media highlighted the fact that Benga genre of music was indeed popular in the Eastern region of Nigeria!!!!!

I think your styles live on...Talent is a gift from God indeed. I wish most parents will take their times/be patience enough to study each child that is born into their homes...and place a mark of encouragement on their children with talents instead of using religion (Christianity) as an excuse for not encouraging them to develop fully their capacities...Stereotyping every child with musical talent as one who will end up a womanizer or a drunkard is one the set backs for kids from such homes. I think you are not dead: as a singer...your orchestrative inclinations are inspirational...Ali Chukwuma lives ON....

@nfefe You can choose to call yrself Igbo and I wonder if u are Ukwani. All my Umunna and Ummunehave never thought themselves as Igbo aside those culturaly uneducated people that live in cities from home. Its easier for them to link their identity with a major tribe.
They could've linked themselves with Hausa or Yoruba people but they didn't. Instead they identified with the one they share a linguistic and cultural similarity which is Igbo. The man from Asaba can't be differentiated from the man from Anambra. One language, one culture. Igbo Kwenu
