- This is an adult collectible made by Bandai for the Japanese Domestic Market. If you are a fan of Buzz and don't live in Japan, fear not as he should still be rather easy to get if you don't mind spending over $100. He doesn't have sound gimmicks but the materials and construction justify the price.
Because in the collectors circle, we dont say diecast metal. You will notice also on the boxes that they will usually always just label components as "Diecast". If you look up reviews written and video, you will see 90% of the time, it is just referred to as diecast, even though that is the process used to cast the metal
All this figure is missing is the spaceship box that would surely go well with the figure! Otherwise, a great scaled down replica of the Buzz Lightyear figure in the movie (minus the electronics) :-) Can't wait to receive mine!
im glad it has all the bells and whistles that the normal toys have but they dont do any thing. thats the kinda toy i want and love.
The “demo and play” switch is functional, it’s just pretty stiff when it’s new.

@Frankenstein61 well it is cheaper now, probably didnt sell well, but its such a nice fig. I think its fail point was the lack of lighting or sound gimmick

This is great for posing around. If they had added in lighting and sound gimmick, it would cost a lot more than it already is seeing as this is made of diecast metal which in this day and age is expensive.
@maykondobg Unfortunately no, the batteries are fake. He has no gimmick feature.

you did a great job thank you but the reason you had trouble with the helmet is you have to line up the holes on the side and snap it in well done thumps up.
