    Parking a bike on-street in Philly - you are braver than I!

      It's fine, and even better if you're at a designated corral. You can get a virtual permit from the PPA for $250 a year, which is equal to paying only $1.46 to park all day in the city. In Philly that's an amazing steal.

    Great to see a new vid from you SW 🙂
    So annoying when cars use bike parking spots. The postal strikes in the UK have been pretty disruptive... I've not found Drift customer service to be that helpful either sadly. Glad to hear they got in touch finally, hopefully you'll not have to wait too long for it to arrive.

      Thanks. I’m still waiting, but also worried that if they do deliver the cable again it will be in a small package that may below away on our front steps if not put through our mail slot. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and an eye out for any delivery trucks.
      Thanks for watching!

    A. YES! Another motovlog! 2. Consider reaching out to satellite or affiliate motorcycle companies for some funding/sponsoring like clothing brands, helmet brands or even lawyers. C. I guess I have a new shirt to design!

    With the weather this warm this soon, it makes me wonder what summer will be like.
    Dang Fiat. Not quite motorcycle sized is it.
    I like the bike and sleigh combo!
    That stinks about the camera plug.
    People tailgating are the worst sometimes.
    I am looking forward to the next film🙂 That should be interesting to hear all the stories and see the animation. As far as funding, have you reached out to some big motorcycle manufacturers of the riders bikes to be sponsors?

    • @ScooterwolfsMotovlog
      @ScooterwolfsMotovlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There are some faculty grants available through some of the schools where I teach. If I can get those first it may show that I have a project that's already funding and make it more attractive to manufactures. Kymco would be my first choice, then some of the camera companies like GoPro.
      I know what you mean about tailgaters. I'm not a fan of bullies and the small stretch of highway is only a few miles long with a speed of 45 mph. I was probably going faster, but I'm not sure how fast I have to go to satisfy someone's reckless speeding?
      Thanks for watching!

    Good to see you out and riding. Your sound is clean! How do you do your sound set up? And what cameras?

    • @ScooterwolfsMotovlog
      @ScooterwolfsMotovlog  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thanks for watching. I'm recording with an external mic under my helmet connected to my Drift Ghost S action cam. The mic has a deadbeat (windscreen to help with any extra wind noise.
      It's generally not perfect with the raw recording so I add Normalization and Compression in a program called Adobe Audition. That makes the sound more robust and full. After that I have to mix in the different levels of the engine and wind sounds so they don't overwhelm the narration.
      For that ride my other cameras were my GoPro Max on my dash, and my Rylo 360 camera on the windshield. As a Company Rylo was bought out, so the camera is hard to get and find support for, but I really love the quality and resolution.

    teaching is a fun job IF you know what you're talking about, and an absolute nightmare if you're trying to stay 'one page ahead' of the class. I've lived through both ;-)

      My daughter went back to school yesterday. Her new French teacher, introduced himself and then went onto tell the class how his mother died, his father is terminally ill, sister passed away, yadda, yadda...sounded like a total meltdown. Oops

    Also wish we had scooter/moto parking spots.

    • @ScooterwolfsMotovlog

      I know the feeling. You or a group of riders may have to approach your local police or parking authority about the establishment of parking corrals, unless they’re okay with scooters parking on sidewalks or bike racks. It took a decent amount of negotiating with our parking authority to get ours established. Here’s a link to the PPA MC/scooter page.

      @@ScooterwolfsMotovlog Cool thanks. Chicago doesnt care they make us pay normal car for parking price & that I know of only 50cc can park by bikes. I dont think we are allowed on sidewalks to park.

    • @ScooterwolfsMotovlog
      @ScooterwolfsMotovlog  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@scootervixen that’s not surprising. The 2-wheel riders in Philly had to form a coalition to go before the Philadelphia Parking Authority to make the deal. It was also because they were sending mixed messages about where scooters could and couldn’t park, especially on the sidewalks in front of their own row homes (private property) or apartment buildings. It took some time, but worth it.
