Imagine your friend is drinking poison, wouldn't you slap it out of their hand and tell them they shouldn't be doing that. You're unknowingly sending yourself to eternal suffering. While you are still alive, you have a chance.

I did until it no longer made sense to worship something there is no evidence for. If God were real, I'm not sure the Christian God would be worthy of worship.

@knight-knight have you read the Bible? We humans got a free will to do anything we wanted, follow God and we would go to heaven. But after a while, we figured following the law is difficult, and we kept messing up. We aren't worthy of heaven at all. Then God decided to humble Himself and become human, live a sinless life, then died carrying our sin on the cross. Then raises Himself from the dead. And tells everyone when they believe in Him, they'll have eternal life in heaven. I think our God is totally worthy of our worship. Just imagine, God loved us so much, even though we are not worthy of anything! I just think this message is amazing, which is why I and so many other Christians wanna spread it. I've been reading the Bible for a while now, I didn't really wanna do it to begin with, but God touched my heart, and now I'm looking forward to it everytime. I have no fear of death or evil anymore, God gave me the peace and love I was missing my whole life.
