Discovered Mike Glover and Fieldcraft Survival recently. One of the best on TH-cam without all the macho operator BS and real information from a true operator. Seriously cool that you guys did a collab. I appreciated your multi-part series on disaster comms. Especially working the GMRS/FRS small HTs in for close, neighborhood coms and the HF for long range. 73, K2WLF.

We did tactical analog comms in the military-line of site and sky skip with 292's and field expedient rigs. My aspiration is full on man portable SOTA with low power CW and antenna builds. Hoping to connect on Dayton! This is exactly what motivated me to get involved in HAM.

    • @HamRadioCrashCourse

Right on! Portable cw is not hard given the power power needed to run the rig successfully.
