Wen you "dance" back and forth while waiting on an enemy to take a shot is a lot like "dash dancing" from Smash Bros Melee. It keeps you on your toes and active, it also allows you(your hand and mind) to immediately send you in the direction you want to go, because you are already in the action of moving. There is no input delay anywhere, from you, the controller/keyboard, or program itself. I do this as well, in essentially every game I play. It's extremely common in League of Legends too, that is how you are taught to play, constantly be moving.

Happy Thursday Moshpit. The ick is on the way out, & it appears Beast on the way in! Start Low speed isn’t great, but everything else is acceptable thanks to Cat o Nine Tails. Mega Blastis going to make the first bit a breeze. Floor 1 Slipped Rub is okay, it’s got good coverage to block shots. Mega does what Mega does, but the map design is not helpful. Consolation prize gets our speed out of the gutter. Sin declines the reroll dice room- it’s hard to pass up Mega. Floor 2 Dad’s Key is neat, but not better than Mega. 8 Ball from the boss is okay, but Stanley giving up Death’s Touch is huge- even if it puts us on 1hp. Popping the Reverse Justice card in the shop pulls out Squeezy & Latch Key, very solid chests. Floor 3 Kind of a bust- Eye Drops from the boss is it. Floor 4 Super Secret room pays out with Crack Jacks for some HP. Mega rips the boss apart & does a lot to Krampus. Start Deck from the boss at least gives us a way to get some keys. Item room is meh, but a judgment pays out with Compass- helps a lot with Mega usage & reveals a Planetarium we missed- Venus is great. Sol would would have been insane with Mega but this is generally good. Floor 5 Black Pin ate most of the Mega, but it’s okay as the secret room gives us a full charge. Fallen drops a book, but Stanley offers Abbadon- easy take. Curse Room has Sinvicta Robes for even more damage. Very solid floor, now we just need Black Feather. Floor 6 Pile of Pins is one of my least favorite rooms. Black Candle in the shop- definitely need that feather now. Negative taken. Stanley ponies up The Mark & Boss Rush has C-Section: hoo boy. Mausoleum! Oh my, Sin is feeling confident today. I kind of wish Death’s touch gave the C-section babies scythes similar to Spirit Sword, I just think the spin is cute. Diplopia & Champ Belt in the Shop is tempting- if we can get the money. A Dime drop let’s it happen. Ascent Infamy is a solid defensive item & I nothing else was missed. Bedroom Mom’s Pearls gives us some range. C-Section is excellent against Dogma, even without game-breaking stats. Mega isn’t the hard-carry against the Harbingers, but it still does good work. The Chariot cleans phase 2. Final Verdict: 7/10. No absolutely bonkers Items, but very strong & a lap 1 Beast clear is always cool.

QOTD: If you could remove one phase or attack from any boss what would it be? and if you could add a phase to a boss what would it be? For me i would remove Dogma's "Beyblade" attack/phase. It's just annoying when he does it back to back the entire fight.

Using yoour 1 key to open the item room, then "doubling" your zero keys to be 2 keys then buying the key from the shop leaves you with 3 keys, the exact same amount you had from buying the key from the shop and then doubling and then using a key for the item room
About the 2 of spades usage, you should try using it at 0 keys unless you can have 3 keys dropped. If you can get 2 keys like you just did, the card gets you 2 keys anyways but you had to buy one at the shop for that outcome. If you use it at 0 you can choose to save the money or get the 4 keys anyways, so it is a bit better to use it at 0 keys rather than 2 keys and at 3 keys or above you hust double it

I've been playing isaac recently again. And I have to say man, beast isn't that hard. Having to go through all the alt paths for the mother fight is torturous though.
Day 332 of asking Sin for a Fiend Folio run called Fiendish Firsts! But considering Sin seems to be Fiend Foliod out maybe he can try "Boss Butch" adds a bunch of new bosses who aren't completely unfair and for something very unique try "The future" mod adds a new floor with custom enemies and bosses and the boiler adds a third alternative for dross and downpour again with unique enemies and bosses! Maybe add the stranger mod adds a character that is more than a dozen in one!
