- After signing a new four-year contract at Portman Road, Manager Kieran McKenna sat down with TownTV to look at the 2023/24 promotion-winning season, and the challenges ahead as the Blues prepare for the Premier League.
Delighted to see Kieran stay on. Can't help but think our ceiling is a lot higher with him on board.

So pleased I was able to get to a game this year. The Fulham game on Nov 1st. The chant was f*** the cup, we're going up. I loved it. Great days. When the season starts in August it would be no surprise to find that Mark Ashton has built a new stand.
Maybe Gabriel Clarke would consider making a doc of this truly remarkable rise from the wilderness to the pinnacle of world football.

Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich are in for a rude awakening next season. Although they haven't played in the PL for 22 years, they still hold a PL record with a 9-0 defeat. The only question is, can they better this and get to 10 next season ?
Just seen the 24/25 fixtures & their first two games... Liverpool & Man City, so it'll be tough.

In the entire season we only failed to perform in three games, Leeds, WBA and Norwich away, losing all three.
Of the other 43 games, we only lost 3!!
Already everyone is writing us off, ad saying we will come bottom and get relegated.

Do you really believe 3 clubs approached him and ALL THREE chose to snub him? He was favourite for Brighton. He turned them down. He was on a short list for Chelsea. He told them he's not interested. He is on a shortlist for Manu and will clearly be joining them when Ten Hag leaves in a couple of years. You would be an idiot to not consider what's best for you and your family. Especially when huge money is on the table.
