I am a right-winger, and I like Tulsi Gabbard and John Delaney quite a bit. The Dems would take away a lot of Republican voters who are no OK with Trump if they ran a Gabbard-Delaney ticket.

But she doesn’t say what will happen after they are here. We used to have a policy that a person needed to be sponsored in and have a job lined up and have enough money to put in a bank for their rent and to sustain themselves for a few months. Now people come in and are given welfare to the tune of $2500 a month and don’t have to get a job. A system needs to be more than just a policy on entry.

I don't see Yang's position as backdoor communism - he's trying to support people to stimulate a new kind of capitalism that narrows the gap (a little) between the top 1% and the bottom 20%. Every American citizen over 18 gets $1000/month - rich or poor. If Amazon is resulting in making working class professions obsolete, making billions in profits, paying little to no taxes.... Andrew Yang is saying that there are going to be millions of hard working class people (truck drivers, retail workers etc.) out of a job as automation and online retail takes over. Status quo politicians aren't prepared for it and don't have the skills to adapt for it. Not possible to retrain people into new professions fast enough so to avoid having to provide more welfare (which doesn't work), more homeless people, worse health, more addiction, more crime. The $1000/month universal basic income will help keep those people on their feet, money circulating in the local economies and slowly replace the welfare systems which don't always encourage people to work. According to Yangs numbers - the UBI will create more jobs and small business's. It also means stay at home mums or dads will get an income. Still below the poverty line so people still incentivized to work. Not the same stigma as welfare or disability - people might not work or volunteer because they don't want to lose their welfare check - this way they get $1000 regardless. . He says 1.5 Trillion already payed out to people through welfare/disability and other programs, the rest can be covered by taxing the tech companies that profit from the automation and this has been done before. A republican did something in Alaska - a couple grand a year that was paid for from petroleum industry I think. - and the outcomes have been very positive. Yang is not so elitist like other democrats and he thinks people should control their own money. I think a Tulsi/Yang ticket could be productive. She understands the realities of wars and wants to stop regime changes which will save money and a whole lot less suffering. Yang has a better grasp on numbers, business, how to create jobs and the psychology around incentivizing people. Neither of them seem to get emotional. If the DNC cheats again - which I'm sure it will in order to get Biden or Kamala in - then I hope they run as independents. I'm also worried that Bernie, Yang, Warren and the other candidates will dilute the votes so Tulsi doesn't win the primaries.

Mark Williams and there’s the problem. She’s an open borders policy person. She wants reform in the immigration. But her policy will be open borders so that people don’t have to “sneak” in a country. But she doesn’t say what will happen after they are here. We used to have a policy that a person needed to be sponsored in and have a job lined up and have enough money to put in a bank for their rent and to sustain themselves for a few months. Now people come in and are given welfare to the tune of $2500 a month and don’t have to get a job. A system needs to be more than just a policy on entry.

A great smart American woman, as an older and wiser gentleman, she has my vote. I have noticed over the many years on this earth that my wife has always made better decisions than I have. And it’s time in America to let a strong smart woman take the leadership. And I believe that this country will be far better off.
I am a registered Democrat. Never thought I would vote again. Definitely didn't vote for Hillary. If Tulsi isn't the candidate, I'm voting Trump.

Yang is better than most of the turds on the Dem stage, but still isn't the answer.
I don't see Yang's position as backdoor communism - he's trying to support people to stimulate a new kind of capitalism that narrows the gap (a little) between the top 1% and the bottom 20%. Every American citizen over 18 gets $1000/month - rich or poor. If Amazon is resulting in making working class professions obsolete, making billions in profits, paying little to no taxes.... Andrew Yang is saying that there are going to be millions of hard working class people (truck drivers, retail workers etc.) out of a job as automation and online retail takes over. Status quo politicians aren't prepared for it and don't have the skills to adapt for it. Not possible to retrain people into new professions fast enough so to avoid having to provide more welfare (which doesn't work), more homeless people, worse health, more addiction, more crime. The $1000/month universal basic income will help keep those people on their feet, money circulating in the local economies and slowly replace the welfare systems which don't always encourage people to work. According to Yangs numbers - the UBI will create more jobs and small business's. It also means stay at home mums or dads will get an income. Still below the poverty line so people still incentivized to work. Not the same stigma as welfare or disability - people might not work or volunteer because they don't want to lose their welfare check - this way they get $1000 regardless. . He says 1.5 Trillion already payed out to people through welfare/disability and other programs, the rest can be covered by taxing the tech companies that profit from the automation and this has been done before. A republican did something in Alaska - a couple grand a year that was paid for from petroleum industry I think. - and the outcomes have been very positive. Yang is not so elitist like other democrats and he thinks people should control their own money. I think a Tulsi/Yang ticket could be productive. She understands the realities of wars and wants to stop regime changes which will save money and a whole lot less suffering. Yang has a better grasp on numbers, business, how to create jobs and the psychology around incentivizing people. Neither of them seem to get emotional. If the DNC cheats again - which I'm sure it will in order to get Biden or Kamala in - then I hope they run as independents. I'm also worried that Bernie, Yang, Warren and the other candidates will dilute the votes so Tulsi doesn't win the primaries.
She's the most attractive Dem in office I've ever seen. I still don't get the people that state that AOC is attractive.
