For those who are looking for an actual way to animate in-style to DST the program the devs use is called spriter, a program much less user friendly and requires watching a couple of tutorials to figure out.
How to animate like Danganronpa I doubt it would be possible to do a tutorial for the 'Punishment' scenes, but there are parts which are animated in a simpler style
