You can actually beat the game without attacking starting from standless on prestige 2. You have to item farm for years on end, sell the items to the npc, and then buy cosmetics from Fang which awards some exp. It’s an 11-12 hour cooldown though, so get patient, and after an eternity you’ll get enough levels to use arrows
You CAN actually get a stand without fighting the security npcs. Get 10k cash and roll a random cosmetic, and since when you buy it it gives xp it gives enough xp to give you enough skill points to get worthiness.

You should do yba without shiftlock. I know it’s possible (and I did it before because I used to have a chrome book, which can’t use shift lock) but no shift lock would be miserable. I got to pres 3 without shiftlock, no shift lock the whole time… no idea how…

Another stand that doesn't require you to attack (if you don't want to attack that is) is Purple Haze or Purple Fog if whoever is reading this never watched Jojo. Now the reason why I say Purple Haze is simply because he has many poisonous fog moves which don't require u to attack but does alot of damage.
next challenge should be: "Can You Beat YBA Without Pressing W, A, S, D, Any Arrow Keys, or Any movement besides alt?" (dashing) but you can only do this challenge on pc so that you can't get around this rule on mobile. and i guess stand and spec moves that make u move would be allowed because then u couldnt climb the ladder to diavolo
I actually think the epitaph thing is intentional or wasn't but maybe uzu decided to keep it, because to me it's like a feature and I find that you could exploit it as both the one using epitaph and the one fighting against it. That or uzu just hasn't noticed or something or can't be bothered to patch it.
i dont know why, but when i was new to YBA I never had any trouble beating pesci.. I always laughed my ass off when i had to fight him, i only had problems against diavolo, I'm weird

You could use Purple Haze's T on a wall, doesn't count as attacking, because the poison is the one who deals damage, not the T.
Fun fact: If Eclipse used Pilot it would have been easier. He can just use pilot and attack with propeller.
