I can't seem to figure out why Julian doesn't work on other aspects of his game, all he does is shoot 30+ feet contested jumpers and throw up wild Lay ups. His court vision sucks, when he does pass his passes are awful and he ends up turning the ball over, his handles get him nowhere and he looks like he doesn't even try on defense. I know he gets a lot of hate so he probably just wants to put up as many points as he can to prove everyone wrong but there's a reason college's are not giving him scholarships and his height isn't even the biggest issue.
This I think is Julian Newman’s downfall. He doesn’t have elite speed or elite shot making ability for his size. There is nothing elite about him moving to the next level. He needs to get stronger, faster, and more grit. There are a ton of small players that are better than him simple. He’s not a bum but not elite.
