My fursona is a cat named Avacado. Just a simple cat with Siamese-like markings. She has the ability to grow plants on her body and one is permanently on her head. She represents me, shy and clumsy but will fight you if you tread on her tail (literally and metaphorically). She hates overly optimistic people and people in general but loves wild, remote places, plants, pebbles and water. Avocado somewhat looks a little like me: pale, thin and covered in freckles . I haven't actually finished drawing her ref sheet yet and I haven't shown her to anyone but me but I still love her.
i almost died when you said 3 fursonas and 9 main characters was a lot. i have 3 sonas and over 30 mains, 20-30 primary characters, and another 20 or so secondary and tertiary characters. that's even thinned down from how many i had before!! i think my largest amount if characters owned at once was in the 300 range..
I create characters too much. I have around 70 or more. (They are not all furries but STILL) EDIT 1: I no longer consider myself a furry, but I still enjoy anthro ocs. EDIT 2: I am making several comics and in total I have created between 300-500 characters since starting in 7th grade.

My fursona is a genderfluid Hellhound named Iris. I originally designed her around Halloween last year because I was making a character to be siblings with my friends character. I only intended her to be a character, but then i saw a skull suit and immediately wanted a suit of her. After that I started connecting more and more with her and I realized she's a near exact representation of me.
Yeah. It's kinda the 'norm', although the term means basically nothing within the fandom xD Yeah, some people like having one character to represent themselves (like me!) And some like multiple to represent parts of themselves (like Poc- sorry, Adezu). Do what you like!
Wolf star It's honestly SO much easier to only have one, and just keep it a reflection of yourself, and have its personality and characteristics evolve and develop as you do as a person. :)

Ooh, let's see... I'll talk about my sona Rizzy. So basically, my grandmother and I are starting a charity based around me prancing around in the fursuit I will get to make children who are sick or have other issues happy. Rizzy came after days of looking into Dutch Angel Dragons. Though they are still under development, I already have that special connection! I would type more but my phone sucks. XD ❤️
Honestly you're so relatable, I don't have the money to buy characters, but I can't stop making them, so far this year I already made five characters! I don't even have a ref sheet made for most of them, just odd little sketches of cats that I say "Oh, welp, looks like i have a new character to add onto the make-a-ref-list and wait for me to stop procrastinating.." It doesn't help when I can only draw three different species, I have two fursonas, Gummy The Cat (What I want to be) And Zed The Otter (Who I'd most likely be) but I can't draw otters! The ears and body shapes are so different from cats, and much longer than Rabbits...
My fursona is a dog/mutt called DJ! He was originally a mutt/donkey mix and I gave him the name OJ (Oliver James) because I was drinking orange juice when I drew him, but I just wanted him to be a dog instead, and changed his first name do Daniel because that's my name hah
I think making a character based off your birds is a nice way to remember and honor them. I have a budgie named Skye and she is the sweetest thing ever.
Man if 9 characters is a lot, I must be insane to have made 99 ( Yeah, I actually counted ) Though I only have two fursonas and the two of them are named after me: Matt. My main one's a mix between a Jack Russell and a Qimmiq dog and the other one's just me as a house cat, with the design being inspired by my old cat that died a few months ago. I'm thinking about making a third one, but I'm still looking for THE species.

Sly theFolf get proof of purchase. That is usually enough to show people that the design is yours. Also I you post it online put a watermark onto it. It makes them much harder to steal.

I.. don't know a lot of furries but you mentioned like 4 people I know personally and 2 that go or went to my school which is always wild to me, plus you had some of Chaz's poopoos in the thumbnail which made me click, since we've been room mates before. It makes me wanna reach out and be more active and make more awesome friends in this community i love so dearly.

That little addition about Niho's name made me think of a character I've had the idea of but never designed - Costīc Ixchicahuac, an Aztec-style Jaguar who speaks the native Nahuatl (as far as I can xD) and whose names mean 'yellow' and 'brave'. My fursona is still my red tiger Roanth Rufry Alfer (whose names are anagrams), because I love tigers (and am also slightly therian), I didn't see enough tigers when I designed him (I just didn't look, I can see with hindsight) and I associate with him, even without thinking about the money I used to summon him in many forms, but I really wanted this character. Like you, I hoard characters, although mine are designed by me and, normally apart from Roanth, have literally no art to their name.
my fursona is a cat raccoon mix, I was debating on what I wanted so I just fused the two animals. hes made with my favorite color combo and he has my personality but a little extra because unlike me he will go and get a piercing if he wants and im terrified of needles
I have two fursonas, and a stack of characters that is nearly constantly growing... literally! Each fursona answers a slightly different philosophical question. One, Skye, is much newer, and is a species of my own creation called a "wemikket". Wemikkets are a sort of personal riff for me off of a species called wemics -- D&D is primarily responsible for the name. If you take a classic Greek centaur and swap the horse for a lion, you have a wemic. If you mix the lion with a generous helping of red fox first -- that produces a wemikket. I incorporate Chakat-style handpaws into all my taurform characters because the practicality is simply undeniable, so Skye has that as well. Skye answers the question, "You woke up this morning as the fur-person version of yourself that you've always wanted, with everything else essentially unchanged. What do you look like?" My second fursona is Flint, a fox dude with the ability to build or fix literally anything, as long as (a) he can understand at least on an abstract, conceptual level what it does and how, and (b) the tech he has access to is capable of actually being assembled, however haphazardly, into the form he needs. Flint lives on a near-future Earth that is mostly non-anthro and is just beginning to emerge from some very difficult times. Flint is the answer to "If you could be your ultimate ideal self, as a fur-person, what would you be abd be like?" The name is a 'Star Trek' reference. Flint's world contains a number of characters, each of whom brings out and represents, at least in some way, aspects of myself or of who I'd like to be -- such as a young wemic lady named Simone, who represents the work ethic I wish I had (I have Asperger's, and part of the way it affects me puts a profound damper on that -- tl;dr, imagine that having a sense of needing to accomplish a given task does not directly correlate to an urge, or even an inclination, to actually deal with it). Simone has a brilliant literary mind, but had an "Instagram hottie" body and chose a lazy modeling career instead... which worked great until she lost her legs in a nasty accident (exact details TBD) -- becoming a wemic let her walk again, but her modeling career was over. With no other choice, she learns the value of actually putting effort into things.
Well you see, sometimes Artist come up with an amazing Character idea or some Artist are just good in creating Character Design in General but the Problem is that they actually don't "need" this character (In most cases). So, instead of keeping the Character, they sell them, cuz not everyone is Good at Designing and the Character has a new "home"! I mean, if I have a character and don't use them, I totally would sell them because I know, someone else would love to have this character for whatever reason. So yeah... this is my thought on this.
Designing characters is lots of fun, and who doesn't like making money from something fun? And for buyers, not everyone is an artist or even just good at coming up with designs. Saves time designing and drawing it yourself too!
Nalyr The Ragon There are also custom adoptables, these are fun to do! That's when somebody have an idea of parts of a character, like species and colors, but pay somebody else to create a full oc based on these basics, because they like this artist's style, ideas etc ^^ I personally looove to make adoptables, it's great way to practice designing, and watching somebody use and love something you made is awesome~~

I regret not finding your videos sooner because I've been binge-watching them for days! But ya, only been in the fandom for about 2 years, and I have 2 characters that I consider fursonas. Glowstick, a scaleless black dragonfish (which due to a meme is the origin of my handle as well), and Bangarang, a crocodile design I bought after Christmas last year. Glowstick is closer to my actual personality, while Bangarang is more what I wish I could be.
DRACOTHEDRAGON Talk to and adult, friend, or someone you are comfortable with that can help you get through it. Although what bullies say or do shouldn't get to you (why should you care what they think) it still stings to be bullied but a supportive friend to talk to really helps. Being a furry shouldn't be something to feel ashamed of and as long as you know that it doesn't matter what others think. I really hope that you can find the strength to get through this troubling part of life but maybe you can look back on it in the future and be proud that you could get through it. I've recently found the furry community and it really is a great group of people. Best of luck!

I am working very hard in school so that I can get a good paying job and have enough money to get a suit and keep a roof over my head. Hopefully one day I'll get my suit and start a channel too. I can really relate. I myself like to design characters which is why I have a ton of them. But the ideas won't stop coming! Ukiyo (Bat) has become my Fursona even though he started as a character as well. Like your Pocari Roo he is also genderfluid. His character is a bit more twisted as he is not only bubbly and hyper active but also shy and a bit depressed. Ukiyo might not talk about what bothers him, but sometimes he feels very lost. I started to connect with him due to that haha. I am sorry for that super long comment. Really really enjoy your videos!
My two main fursonas are Keish and an unnamed Sodaroo. When I first decided to make a fursona I made a Sergal named Nnir, and Nnir is Rinn backwards. They were inverse colors of Rinn and had glowing spines. Then, I felt as if I was barely connecting to Nnir anymore (cause I only made him in honor of Rinn) and needed a change. I did a complete 180 on Nnir and changed their named to Keish. Now they had a blue stripe along their snout, green circles around their eyes. Red main fur and a black back. Then, finally, I felt as if her design was shifting away from who I was and changed it one more time to how it is today. She now has glowing spirals around her eyes, arms, and tail. She is sort of a more extrovert side of me, with an undying passion for adventure and challenges. Now there isn't much about my Sodaroo yet, but I am thinking. I want my Sodaroo to possibly be based off of either Rootbeer Or Sparkling Ice Water (that's a soda right?). Anyways, they will be female and have their main color be blue with orange and black stripes on their back perhaps, or have a tan underbelly and green fur. Their personality will relate more to me I believe. They will be my introvert side; just wanting to stay inside, not talk a lot, be more funny, and also be a little more laid back than Keish. (any suggestions on the Sodaroo Pocari?) Anyways that's my story!
I love all your characters!! I'm very new to the fandom so it's just me and my fursona Copper who is a golden retriever corgi mix. She is basically just me as an animal partly because she has floppy ears that resembles my short hair.
Loved that ending twist! I have way too many characters. It always happens, I make a character, I make the character's backstory. The backstory needs characters, so I make them. Then I make their backstories, which also need characters. It's an endless loop and I can't stop
My fursona is a REALLY weird mix. She's an Australian Sheperd/Common Ringed Plover mix. To be honest, she's the first mix like that that I've seen, haha. Her name is Anabeth Mutter (not my name lol). She's actually my first fursona, so I don't have much planned for her yet, but I do hope she'll become a suit one day. I created her as a dog/bird mix because I love both of those animals and each of them holds a special place in my heart. An Australian Shepherd is my favorite type of dog and a Common Ringed Plover just looked good with it lol.
Not sure if/how often you read these, but just a suggestion for the future: Leave your pictures up a little longer. I kept missing what your characters looked like because you only had them of screen for a second or less. I maaaaaay have like....6 fursonas. Each of them represents a facet of myself. Melo the Long-Eared Jerboa: My main fursona who is basically just how I usually am. They're Chill, kind and love art Hyper the River Otter: A very hyperactive and easily excited little thing. Loves water. Musk the Kemono Bakeneko: She was my first ever sona. A huge Weeb and dork who loves to play. Scrap the Opossum: LOVES to party and have fun even if they look silly while doing it. (A)libi the Bat: Emotional, bratty and overal a way to vent my frustrations. Tarot the Hairless Chinese Crested Dog: Smol puppy who loves magic and being smol. I love each and every one of them. I need to get more art of the others haha. Lets not even get me started on the amount of characters I have. This was a very wonderful bottle episode! I love learning about other's characters! And Rumba is so cute!!

I've also gotten pretty attached to the protoboop I have currently, but I also made an iriomote cat/nekomata hybrid-thing that I adore.... My fursona is a Buffalo Wolf called Mandy. She is all gray with a tuft or black hair between her ears and it runs all the way down her spine to her tail. Her personality is menacing, bold, and mischievious. Right now I'm looking forward to finally making her after going back and forward about her design for like a month :P Wish me luck!
Hmm ... so, there are two characters that spring to mind for me. The first is Carnival. She's a holographic wolf/rabbit hybrid (primarily wolf but with oversized lop-eared style ears) with a love of being cheeky, and laying a verbal smackdown on trolls and bullies. She's mostly grey, but with blue stripes up her ears and some small blue stars under her eyes. The second is Xera, a fennec fox. She's hyperactive, playful and views the world with a childlike innocence. She doesn't ahve any odd colouring, and is pretty much just Fennec coloured. The thing is, I don't know whether I'd class them as fursonas per se. I definitely have a deep connection with them, but that's mostly because I've spent so long writing about them. They both have aspects of me there, as well as aspects of things that I'd like to be more like though.

My fursona is an opposum bat named neo he has bright greens and yellows and a long tail, and his arms and legs turn into a deep blue colour referencing the opposing part of him! I also have another fursona his name is Pluto and he’s a multicoloured crocodile chameleon! And I love and cherish them both!
Because you asked- my fursona is steam. She's a pink and white border collie. I always wanted to live on a ranch with horses, so I put that dream into a very Western oriented border collie character. I don't have a reason she's called steam other than that I haven't settled on a name yet. Love your vids!
Although I haven't really been active in the online art / furry community for a few years, I still technically have 3 sonas :') Tal - I had her designed when I was 16-ish, just finding the online furry/adopts community and getting into digital art. She's a scruffy little coyote x heinz 57 mutt who's design is murder to recreate. (She's got a limited palette, but her body is covered in lots of splotchy details). Although I wasn't diagnosed until about 8 years after having Tal designed, my ADHD was definitely incorporated into her design. I had no clue I had ADHD, but I wanted her design to be a reflection of the way I felt inside at the time - messy, complicated, a bit confusing, and a little chaotic. And she definitely fits that! She was my main character when I was heavy into the community and definitely has $1,500+ worth of art. :') Although I don't connect with her as much these days, she's still 'me' and definitely encapsulates my more chaotic, impulsive, scrappy side. Asha - she was an adopt I instantly fell in-love with, but missed the chance to buy. I believe I kept track of her for over a year and nabbed her when the original owner decided to put some chars up for sale. She's a karelian bear dog mix and more of what I feel I'd look like in dog form, if that makes sense. 😂 More of a literal representation. unnamed monster sona - I've had her for 3+ years, I should probably actually do something with her... 😂 I commissioned Coyotestars a few years ago for a custom tasmanian devil x Deathclaw (Fallout) character to use as a sona. I love/relate to devils and wanted a non-dog sona with big peets, claws, & teef. :')

I have 2 fursonas and a secret fursona. Obviously, there's Clawy/D-Claw the evilest anvil obsessed toon cat. She changed from my original sona I had when I joined the fandom, Taijey. She was just a feral orange and white cat. I really wanted to become a toon so I stood her up, gave her clothes, picked my favorite toon trope (getting hit with anvils), and went with it. She is who I want to be: Confident, Unintentionally Silly, and Bold. Then there's Dish the Bolt Coyote. He's more so who I am: Quiet, Tech Savy, and often Unheard. Coyotes are often looked at in a negative light but I've always been fascinated with them since watching my first Wile E. Coyote cartoon.
a few of the fursonas I have that I especially like is my protogen and my cougar-deer mix. my protogen's name is Nikko, and he has a connection with me because he has some of my favorite colors, and is based on daytime and nighttime, which is pretty cool. the colors he has is pastel yellow and midnight blue as his primary colors, and baby blue and vanilla as his secondary colors. he is lazy, and despite him being based on half sun and half moon, he doesn't go outside much. he does like the rain though. he likes to build and is always up for a challenge. as for my cougar-deer, he is based on campfires. his colors are pastel gold for his primary, and burnt sienna for his secondary. he also has mini fireballs hovering above his ears and at the tip of his antlers that are made up of mostly pastel colors. his connection to me is that he loves toasted marshmallows and camping, and also loves the outdoors. he is kind of a marshmallow addict and goes outside whenever he gets the chance. he usually gets distracted easily and forgets things a lot of the time. he is shy and doesn't have many friends but he still acts like he's fine. I am bored as heck, so I followed the instructions at the end of the video to explain my favorites and try to get less bored.
My fursona is frosty clawz, and he's a wolf, because no matter how much I try, wolves have always been my favourite animals, for continuous reasons, dancing the list is still in progress. Nocty is my wolf Sona because my last name Gonzalo means "running wolf" and the wolf is my spirit animal. I've had this version of him for near 6 years (since 17) and he is the 3rd version. I just finished making his suit and cannot wait to debut him at TFF 2018! ^~^
My Fursona is a Chocolate Lab named Gizzy. I love her so much, and she is pretty much the exact representation of me. Her name comes from one of my old dogs, who was named Gizmo. He sadly passed away a few summers ago, and to make him live on in memory, I made a Fursona based on him. I also have a Soda roo, of which you actually inspired me to create. He's based off my personal favorite drink, Root Beer, but because I didn't want to name him Root, Rb, etc. I thought I could name him something that started with an R instead. His named ended up being Ricki (pronounced Ree-Key) and I LOVE him! He's super sweet and bubbly, but very clumsy. He has a very big sweet tooth, and tends only to eat things that are sweet. He's kinda like a second version of me, because he has the kind of sweet and adoriable personality I want, but still has the faults I have.
My fursona is a wolf named Galaxy. She was inspired off another fursona, Nova. Nova was actually designed by the artist that designed Galaxy; Neonslushie. Similar to how Rika can use fire power, Galaxy can use a form of magic called Cosmomancy that I came up with (hence her name)

My fursona is a genderfluid Hellhound named Iris. I originally designed her around Halloween last year because I was making a character to be siblings with my friends character. I only intended her to be a character, but then i saw a skull suit and immediately wanted a suit of her. After that I started connecting more and more with her and I realized she's a near exact representation of me.

Yeah. It's kinda the 'norm', although the term means basically nothing within the fandom xD Yeah, some people like having one character to represent themselves (like me!) And some like multiple to represent parts of themselves (like Poc- sorry, Adezu). Do what you like!

Honestly you're so relatable, I don't have the money to buy characters, but I can't stop making them, so far this year I already made five characters! I don't even have a ref sheet made for most of them, just odd little sketches of cats that I say "Oh, welp, looks like i have a new character to add onto the make-a-ref-list and wait for me to stop procrastinating.." It doesn't help when I can only draw three different species, I have two fursonas, Gummy The Cat (What I want to be) And Zed The Otter (Who I'd most likely be) but I can't draw otters! The ears and body shapes are so different from cats, and much longer than Rabbits...

Sly theFolf get proof of purchase. That is usually enough to show people that the design is yours. Also I you post it online put a watermark onto it. It makes them much harder to steal.

That little addition about Niho's name made me think of a character I've had the idea of but never designed - Costīc Ixchicahuac, an Aztec-style Jaguar who speaks the native Nahuatl (as far as I can xD) and whose names mean 'yellow' and 'brave'. My fursona is still my red tiger Roanth Rufry Alfer (whose names are anagrams), because I love tigers (and am also slightly therian), I didn't see enough tigers when I designed him (I just didn't look, I can see with hindsight) and I associate with him, even without thinking about the money I used to summon him in many forms, but I really wanted this character. Like you, I hoard characters, although mine are designed by me and, normally apart from Roanth, have literally no art to their name.

I too have way to many fursonas. But my main fursona is a tiger German Shepherd hybrid named M@x . But I have almost 400 characters.
I have two fursonas, and a stack of characters that is nearly constantly growing... literally!
Each fursona answers a slightly different philosophical question. One, Skye, is much newer, and is a species of my own creation called a "wemikket". Wemikkets are a sort of personal riff for me off of a species called wemics -- D&D is primarily responsible for the name. If you take a classic Greek centaur and swap the horse for a lion, you have a wemic. If you mix the lion with a generous helping of red fox first -- that produces a wemikket. I incorporate Chakat-style handpaws into all my taurform characters because the practicality is simply undeniable, so Skye has that as well. Skye answers the question, "You woke up this morning as the fur-person version of yourself that you've always wanted, with everything else essentially unchanged. What do you look like?"
My second fursona is Flint, a fox dude with the ability to build or fix literally anything, as long as (a) he can understand at least on an abstract, conceptual level what it does and how, and (b) the tech he has access to is capable of actually being assembled, however haphazardly, into the form he needs. Flint lives on a near-future Earth that is mostly non-anthro and is just beginning to emerge from some very difficult times.
Flint is the answer to "If you could be your ultimate ideal self, as a fur-person, what would you be abd be like?" The name is a 'Star Trek' reference.
Flint's world contains a number of characters, each of whom brings out and represents, at least in some way, aspects of myself or of who I'd like to be -- such as a young wemic lady named Simone, who represents the work ethic I wish I had (I have Asperger's, and part of the way it affects me puts a profound damper on that -- tl;dr, imagine that having a sense of needing to accomplish a given task does not directly correlate to an urge, or even an inclination, to actually deal with it). Simone has a brilliant literary mind, but had an "Instagram hottie" body and chose a lazy modeling career instead... which worked great until she lost her legs in a nasty accident (exact details TBD) -- becoming a wemic let her walk again, but her modeling career was over. With no other choice, she learns the value of actually putting effort into things.

I don't understand... Why would someone BUY a character? I find it odd how someone would make a character just to sell. Can someone explain?
Well you see, sometimes Artist come up with an amazing Character idea or some Artist are just good in creating Character Design in General but the Problem is that they actually don't "need" this character (In most cases).
So, instead of keeping the Character, they sell them, cuz not everyone is Good at Designing and the Character has a new "home"!
I mean, if I have a character and don't use them, I totally would sell them because I know, someone else would love to have this character for whatever reason. So yeah... this is my thought on this.
Designing characters is lots of fun, and who doesn't like making money from something fun? And for buyers, not everyone is an artist or even just good at coming up with designs. Saves time designing and drawing it yourself too!
Nalyr The Ragon There are also custom adoptables, these are fun to do! That's when somebody have an idea of parts of a character, like species and colors, but pay somebody else to create a full oc based on these basics, because they like this artist's style, ideas etc ^^
I personally looove to make adoptables, it's great way to practice designing, and watching somebody use and love something you made is awesome~~

But ya, only been in the fandom for about 2 years, and I have 2 characters that I consider fursonas. Glowstick, a scaleless black dragonfish (which due to a meme is the origin of my handle as well), and Bangarang, a crocodile design I bought after Christmas last year. Glowstick is closer to my actual personality, while Bangarang is more what I wish I could be.

DRACOTHEDRAGON Talk to and adult, friend, or someone you are comfortable with that can help you get through it. Although what bullies say or do shouldn't get to you (why should you care what they think) it still stings to be bullied but a supportive friend to talk to really helps. Being a furry shouldn't be something to feel ashamed of and as long as you know that it doesn't matter what others think. I really hope that you can find the strength to get through this troubling part of life but maybe you can look back on it in the future and be proud that you could get through it. I've recently found the furry community and it really is a great group of people. Best of luck!

My fursona is Kukki. She is a domestic cat with floating wings and she is based of my real cat named Oreo. She represents me because she a geeky yaoi,anime loving fangirl! and she is super gay like me!
I can really relate. I myself like to design characters which is why I have a ton of them. But the ideas won't stop coming! Ukiyo (Bat) has become my Fursona even though he started as a character as well. Like your Pocari Roo he is also genderfluid. His character is a bit more twisted as he is not only bubbly and hyper active but also shy and a bit depressed. Ukiyo might not talk about what bothers him, but sometimes he feels very lost. I started to connect with him due to that haha. I am sorry for that super long comment. Really really enjoy your videos!

My two main fursonas are Keish and an unnamed Sodaroo.
When I first decided to make a fursona I made a Sergal named Nnir, and Nnir is Rinn backwards. They were inverse colors of Rinn and had glowing spines. Then, I felt as if I was barely connecting to Nnir anymore (cause I only made him in honor of Rinn) and needed a change. I did a complete 180 on Nnir and changed their named to Keish. Now they had a blue stripe along their snout, green circles around their eyes. Red main fur and a black back. Then, finally, I felt as if her design was shifting away from who I was and changed it one more time to how it is today. She now has glowing spirals around her eyes, arms, and tail. She is sort of a more extrovert side of me, with an undying passion for adventure and challenges.
Now there isn't much about my Sodaroo yet, but I am thinking. I want my Sodaroo to possibly be based off of either Rootbeer Or Sparkling Ice Water (that's a soda right?). Anyways, they will be female and have their main color be blue with orange and black stripes on their back perhaps, or have a tan underbelly and green fur. Their personality will relate more to me I believe. They will be my introvert side; just wanting to stay inside, not talk a lot, be more funny, and also be a little more laid back than Keish. (any suggestions on the Sodaroo Pocari?)

My fursona is a REALLY weird mix. She's an Australian Sheperd/Common Ringed Plover mix. To be honest, she's the first mix like that that I've seen, haha. Her name is Anabeth Mutter (not my name lol). She's actually my first fursona, so I don't have much planned for her yet, but I do hope she'll become a suit one day. I created her as a dog/bird mix because I love both of those animals and each of them holds a special place in my heart. An Australian Shepherd is my favorite type of dog and a Common Ringed Plover just looked good with it lol.

Not sure if/how often you read these, but just a suggestion for the future: Leave your pictures up a little longer. I kept missing what your characters looked like because you only had them of screen for a second or less. My fursona is a Buffalo Wolf called Mandy. She is all gray with a tuft or black hair between her ears and it runs all the way down her spine to her tail. Her personality is menacing, bold, and mischievious. Right now I'm looking forward to finally making her after going back and forward about her design for like a month :P Wish me luck!

Hmm ... so, there are two characters that spring to mind for me.
The first is Carnival. She's a holographic wolf/rabbit hybrid (primarily wolf but with oversized lop-eared style ears) with a love of being cheeky, and laying a verbal smackdown on trolls and bullies. She's mostly grey, but with blue stripes up her ears and some small blue stars under her eyes.
The second is Xera, a fennec fox. She's hyperactive, playful and views the world with a childlike innocence. She doesn't ahve any odd colouring, and is pretty much just Fennec coloured.
The thing is, I don't know whether I'd class them as fursonas per se. I definitely have a deep connection with them, but that's mostly because I've spent so long writing about them. They both have aspects of me there, as well as aspects of things that I'd like to be more like though.

Although I haven't really been active in the online art / furry community for a few years, I still technically have 3 sonas :')
Tal - I had her designed when I was 16-ish, just finding the online furry/adopts community and getting into digital art. She's a scruffy little coyote x heinz 57 mutt who's design is murder to recreate. (She's got a limited palette, but her body is covered in lots of splotchy details). Although I wasn't diagnosed until about 8 years after having Tal designed, my ADHD was definitely incorporated into her design. I had no clue I had ADHD, but I wanted her design to be a reflection of the way I felt inside at the time - messy, complicated, a bit confusing, and a little chaotic. And she definitely fits that! She was my main character when I was heavy into the community and definitely has $1,500+ worth of art. :') Although I don't connect with her as much these days, she's still 'me' and definitely encapsulates my more chaotic, impulsive, scrappy side.
Asha - she was an adopt I instantly fell in-love with, but missed the chance to buy. I believe I kept track of her for over a year and nabbed her when the original owner decided to put some chars up for sale. She's a karelian bear dog mix and more of what I feel I'd look like in dog form, if that makes sense. 😂 More of a literal representation.
unnamed monster sona - I've had her for 3+ years, I should probably actually do something with her... 😂 I commissioned Coyotestars a few years ago for a custom tasmanian devil x Deathclaw (Fallout) character to use as a sona. I love/relate to devils and wanted a non-dog sona with big peets, claws, & teef. :')

Obviously, there's Clawy/D-Claw the evilest anvil obsessed toon cat. She changed from my original sona I had when I joined the fandom, Taijey. She was just a feral orange and white cat. I really wanted to become a toon so I stood her up, gave her clothes, picked my favorite toon trope (getting hit with anvils), and went with it. She is who I want to be: Confident, Unintentionally Silly, and Bold.
Then there's Dish the Bolt Coyote. He's more so who I am: Quiet, Tech Savy, and often Unheard. Coyotes are often looked at in a negative light but I've always been fascinated with them since watching my first Wile E. Coyote cartoon.
a few of the fursonas I have that I especially like is my protogen and my cougar-deer mix. my protogen's name is Nikko, and he has a connection with me because he has some of my favorite colors, and is based on daytime and nighttime, which is pretty cool. the colors he has is pastel yellow and midnight blue as his primary colors, and baby blue and vanilla as his secondary colors. he is lazy, and despite him being based on half sun and half moon, he doesn't go outside much. he does like the rain though. he likes to build and is always up for a challenge.
as for my cougar-deer, he is based on campfires. his colors are pastel gold for his primary, and burnt sienna for his secondary. he also has mini fireballs hovering above his ears and at the tip of his antlers that are made up of mostly pastel colors. his connection to me is that he loves toasted marshmallows and camping, and also loves the outdoors. he is kind of a marshmallow addict and goes outside whenever he gets the chance. he usually gets distracted easily and forgets things a lot of the time. he is shy and doesn't have many friends but he still acts like he's fine.

My fursona is frosty clawz, and he's a wolf, because no matter how much I try, wolves have always been my favourite animals, for continuous reasons, dancing the list is still in progress. But I'm letting my... more cutsey and flirtatious side release onto him, and I've got some raffle art coming along with him from Corey W. Skyes from the furry amino, seriously, her work is amazing and I would HIGHLY recommend you to commission her

Nocty is my wolf Sona because my last name Gonzalo means "running wolf" and the wolf is my spirit animal. I've had this version of him for near 6 years (since 17) and he is the 3rd version. I just finished making his suit and cannot wait to debut him at TFF 2018! ^~^

My Fursona is a Chocolate Lab named Gizzy. I love her so much, and she is pretty much the exact representation of me. Her name comes from one of my old dogs, who was named Gizmo. He sadly passed away a few summers ago, and to make him live on in memory, I made a Fursona based on him.
I also have a Soda roo, of which you actually inspired me to create. He's based off my personal favorite drink, Root Beer, but because I didn't want to name him Root, Rb, etc. I thought I could name him something that started with an R instead. His named ended up being Ricki (pronounced Ree-Key) and I LOVE him! He's super sweet and bubbly, but very clumsy. He has a very big sweet tooth, and tends only to eat things that are sweet. He's kinda like a second version of me, because he has the kind of sweet and adoriable personality I want, but still has the faults I have.
My fursona is a wolf named Galaxy. She was inspired off another fursona, Nova. Nova was actually designed by the artist that designed Galaxy; Neonslushie. Similar to how Rika can use fire power, Galaxy can use a form of magic called Cosmomancy that I came up with (hence her name)
