Teardown Physics are insane

  • I've been experimenting with mods since beating the campaign as I'm going back to what I initially intended when I bought the game a few weeks ago. Gordon Woo's house is way too fun to destroy and figured it would be a good ground for practicing C-4 placement/timing for a semi-realistic demolition. This ended up going a totally different direction than I thought. As the C-4 charges were placed strategically with the intent to have all the buildings collapse in succession by the end, I had to make frequent adjustments to make sure it worked.
    On the first time that it did, I realized I probably found the game's limits in terms of how much destruction it can handle. There were 271 charges placed, with most shots having the explosions go off in succession in 0.1 seconds. There's an exception where it was .25 or .5 as in the final clip, but that was simply taking too long. So it turns out you can really stress the game's physics even if unintentional. I did attempt having all charges go off at the same time, but unsurprisingly this crashed the game. These were too funny not to share.
