HELLO FRIENDS!! yes, part 2 is here!! we're netflix-ing it so you can binge both parts at once! ✨let us know which hotel was your fave & keep those loins girded for our celebrity chef video (which is going to take a *little bit* longer to come out)!! XOXO, saf
If she still wears the ring from Tyler's engagement video it has a very skinny band with a gorgeous black gem so it very well could be her expensive ring. I'm glad Paul got it
As an adult, who has never been to Vegas, hates crowds, parties and gambling, I really appreciate this series. Gives me an idea of what to do if I ever go.
Stay at Red Rock Hotel! Red Rock is super beautiful….just go after February because we get “second winter” here and it’s can be cold and windy and not fun.
Same, for the first half. But for me, I got enough vicarious enjoyment that I don’t feel like I have to go now. Pretty amazing they can produce such a fun, light, entertaining video (JUST what I needed today) that clearly took an enormous amount of work and expense.
After thr wedding ring moment i realized what i like so much about their vlogs and content! No sensationalism. Saf lost her wedding ring, but they didnt turn it into content. No dramatic music. No footage of breakdowns etc. Its just all very down to earth
YES THIS!! No "I need to talk to the manager!!", no filming arguments at the reception desk, no haggling employees. Even tho, in some of those situations, I *really* hope they did talk to the hotel staff off-camera about the cleanliness. Especially the leftover food.
YES! It was more like "oh btw i lost my ring but i eventually got it back" as if it was just part of the experience. I truly love how down to earth they both are!
Okay but now Saf and Ty need to review that candle brand that specifically makes candles that smell like famous hotels. It just feels like the final boss. Maybe they can melt them all together and see what the ultimate hotel smell is.
I’m wondering too. I think the automatic response would have been to upgrade them, but considering they were staying just one night each maybe they got discounts for the next visit or for some restaurants? Not sure, upvoting so maybe Saf will see us and let us know!
The Vegas tourism board needs to pay you for this. I have never been to Vegas, have no immediate plans to go, and I watched every moment of this and TOOK NOTES in case anyone approaches me with the idea to get out there. Will def be watching the restaurant reviews as well!!
Agreed! I don't really gamble or drink, but I would totally be interested in the food and sightseeing options. I didn't know it had so much to offer in that regard.
As a previous hotel employee, I can explain why the rooms at 42:25 were behind the door. Those are the rooms we used for large parties who want to be able to go between rooms. The extra door can usually be locked to provide extra privacy while the individual room doors can be propped open, allowing the occupants to go between both rooms. We often had parents who stayed in one room while their kids stayed in the other and they liked the extra security :)
Yep! Growing up, my parents were worried something would happen to me and my brother if we were in a room too far away from theirs, so we were only allowed our own room if we could get a room right next to each other. Rooms like this that had the extra door were our lifesavers!
Can you explain the two rooms with food in the mini fridge? I thought they always checked them, not just for cleanliness, but to charge for items used from the mini bar (and to restock them). (Microwaves would be another place I would check, if fancy hotels even have them in the room.)
@@RLucas3000 I don't really know, but mini bars aren't even stocked that often anymore so maybe they just don't have a reason to check. Recently, I've noticed hotels don't even have a fridge in the room. Maybe that's just a European thing though, idk. Either way, they probably didn't find the sandwich because the fridge wasn't stocked so no reason to check (although they should at least have a look to see if it needs a clean...). The earlier one with fully spoiled food was weirder, seeing as the fridge was stocked and also it obviously hadn't been checked for WAY too long.
I think it’s really cool that you guys kept the rooms base level, so that we got a realistic Vegas strip tour. All of these rooms besides the first I would pay for and can see myself enjoying
i've been to vegas once and lasted all of 3 days before getting so exhausted i didn't even want to leave the hotel room, y'all's dedication to make it through over THIRTY hotels and explore vegas for TWO WEEKS straight is genuinely unreal 😭 thank you for your service
especially in the kind of heat they were in for so long, props to safia and tyler, really, i subbed to them for a reason and they never fail to disappoint 😭
From some investigation, I’m pretty sure the hotel upgraded them and didn’t tell them, because that room was an executive suite by the look of it. the base rooms at Bally’s don’t seem to have open plan bathrooms 😢
@levi-young it used to be like that, but these days more places than not (at least on the strip) have jacked up the prices for the rooms as well. I mean, they tried to get all base rooms and def paid all the base prices, but I think only 3 ended up being
Agreed! We don't get uploads as often as some other channels, but when she does upload, it's FABULOUS!!!! I've spent the last two days watching both the videos in small bits, and not only these, but any videos of hers have such great rewatchibility. The research is always impeccable and on point, and I just really love both Saf and Tyler.
In case anyone was wondering, Safiya spent $9848 on hotel rooms (including the Vdara and not including any food or entertainment) which is less than I was expecting tbh. Great video as always!
Okay now I’m gonna need you guys to do a series of staying in famous historic hotels across the country! Stanley Hotel, Hotel del Coronado, Mackinac Grand Hotel, Mount Washington Hotel, etc
Hotel del is nice to look at more than anything unfortunately. I've lived in san Diego the last 5 years. It's beautiful, but definitely in need of renovations. They've been working on some recently tho, so hopefully it will only get better
my grandma used to go to The Flamingo for her birthday every year and I inherited all her vintage dresses and shirts and bags that are COVERED in flamingo embroidery and beading. Cool to see the inside of where my grandma spent a good 50 of her birthdays!
I’m just obsessed whenever Safiya and Tyler visit places because they always try to be so thorough and descriptive, it really helps with living vicariously through them
Exactly! I am physically disabled, 66, and not independently wealthy (ahem!) My travelling just for fun days seem to be pretty far behind me now. However, I can visit Korea, Japan, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas with Saf-ler. Alright!
Same! I stayed at the Paris once and watching them give their review really felt like I was reliving it. Plus it's super helpful for anyone who wants to plan ahead
Same! I love them. I have ADHD and i can rarely watch through anything without getting bored but I watched both Las Vegas videos in a row and found myself smiling the whole time :) u know it’s good when they even get my adhd brain to stay entertained 😂
Safiya is the only one i can watch do these expensive Luxury videos over other youtubers because, unlike them, i never feel like shes flaunting or bragging about how much luxury she can afford. She makes it so enjoyable since despite the big spending videos, her amazing personality always makes the videos feel grounded.
True. They also mention in this part that they like the Robert Irvine due to being best value of the celeb restaurants. 1st time watching them, and never got a flaunting or cringy vibe from this series
I like how a lot of their videos are based on giving a genuine review and experience on what they’re doing. In a way, they clearly give the facts and opinions.
i knew vegas was extravagant but holy hell these hotels were INSANE!!! each hotel is like their own little town??! absolute madness. thank you for taking us on a virtual tour on literally the craziest selection of resorts the world probably has.
I work at one of these and I cannot tell you how many people tell me on the daily how insanely massive the place is and that they're lost after walking in circles for the past half hour LOL. before I worked at my resort and had to memorize the whole layout of it, even I was constantly lost in it as a local lmao
Hi local and EMT here. Trying to get to patients that stay in those hotels is an absolute long nightmare even when we get the expedited lanes. But yeah you can see the money that goes into this stuff. My mom is a tables game dealer and my aunt does banquets for all the big casinos
Can you explain why anyone would want to go there? Watching these videos showed me that it is as bad as I thought. You are effectively paying money to go to a big mall? No seriously, how is this not a big mall? Circus shows, rollercoaster, etc.. you can likely go to better ones near where you live. What is left? ... Malls? All the consumerism just gives me such a bad vibe
@ar ma that's just your opinion, she doesn't have to explain why going to Vegas is nice for them, people are allowed to like different stuff without being interrogated about it
@@valentineitor.a Yes, she can not answer. I didnt threaten anything if she didnt I asked an open question On one thing you are wrong. How is it not just a big mall? You can disagree on whether it is a bad or good thing; but not on reality I dont like consumerism, turbo capitalism, and cannot morally justify keeping sharks in the middle of the desert, wasting idk how much energy to try to combat nature. Someone can be fine with all of that. Actually thousands of people are, and they even enjoy it.
@@arma2976 You can see from the video that there is so much to do in Vegas, it's not for everyone but if you want live entertainment there will almost certainly be something you enjoy. Definitely lots of food, either high end fancy things, unique food, or cultures that you wouldn't find where you live. Or random attractions, I know you mention going to better one near you, but for a lot of the stuff here there is not better stuff near me lol. Some of the stores are absolutely things in the malls near me, or just really expensive crap, but it's all up to what the individual wants. Now it is pure consumerism I don't think anyone would disagree on that, but most popular tourist vacations are consumerism to the max.
@@EpicEthra How much would it cost to go to NYC? LA? Paris? Venice? Rome? London? Sydney? Tokyo? All those places have a lot more things to do than Vegas - and you get to see the real things! In the sense, it is not just malls and gambling. [Those are still not my type of holiday, but if you want to get bored in a ferrish wheel, get stuck in the London Eye at least] Also idk, to me the idea of trying food from different parts of the world, while not being there, is not a holiday goal. Just go to that country... or order food from the local "ethnic" restaurant... Or make it yourself? Idk, I cannot see anything good about extreme consumerism, which is what vegas is. It screams laziness and entitlement - neither of them are good things. The only case where i would get going there is if its so close to home that going to vegas is like going to a slightly far away mall, but still nearby
The amount of work and time that it must take to comb through hundreds of hours of footage to edit these videos must be astronomical and is stressing me out even thinking about it. Kudos to everyone involved in making these!!
After watching these back to back, I feel like I just walked out of a movie theater after the sun went down, and I don't know what to do with my life anymore. 10/10
i cant believe you two had the energy to keep this up for 2 weeks straight, every day, every night, in freaking hot days, walking all day, on camera. legends.
She's actually right. Johnny Rockets Burgers is a tourist trap rip off, specifically their locations on the Las Vegas strip inside the hotels. For a lunch for two: 2 burgers, 2 fries, 2 sodas and a milkshake cost $58 at the Luxor location. Yes, there's inflation, but not that much. In non tourist areas that meal would cost $20-22, in a resort $30-35, but no justification for $58. The franchisee deserves to go out of business, many locals already know the truth!
Shoutout to Paul for coming through in the clutch and getting Saf’s ring back! They may want to consider caulking the furniture so that doesn’t happen, it would also prevent all the dust (that must be back there) from building up.
I used to work at a hotel where the furniture was connected to the walls as well. A lot of guests lose things behind there, some call stuff, others leave it there and we found it while looking for something else. I really don't know who thought it's a good idea to build furniture that was, especially at a hotel. 🤷🏼♀
@@100dizzer I just commented that I would love to see a breakdown of this trip in spreadsheets and to see the whopping grand total! I can’t even imagine 😅 I’m sure it was meticulously planned especially considering the whole thing is pretty much a tax write off!
I sincerely hope Safiya makes enough money from these travel videos to keep doing them. I can't afford to go anywhere, and watching her show off these really cool places makes me feel like I got to experience them in a small way. Plus, I'll never get tired of the way she says "alriiight". I get there's other travel vlogs out there, but Safia and Tyler are both my kind of chill/funny. They are my comfort TH-camrs.
@@laurenchu1059 OOOO I need this! Specifically every broadway show!!!! Although there wont be any filming allowed in the show but an overall review could be nice from the view of someone who isn't obsessed with Broadway shows.
OOOO i need one for NYC too! I'm planning a trip for later in the year to specifically go see broadway shows, and I would love a hotel breakdown, but im sure they need a much deserved break after that 2 week extravaganza
Wow - I’d like to see a Disney version and a version comparing 1000$ hotel rooms across the country/world, in case you’re in the mood to break the bank!
The way my heart stopped when saf said she lost her wedding ring and was ready to accept the loss 😭😭😭 thank god she got it back omg idk how I would have recovered
I once lost my cell phone in a cab I took from the Circa casino downtown, so I certainly know how stressful something like that can be. Luckily, I got my phone back after going to the lost and found dept. of the cab company. It would have ruined my trip if I didn't get it back!

Ooooof, probably like 50-60k easy, did you see the production team in the list? The camera team at least has to be flown out & fed and everybody has to be paid! They had a sponsor on the first part, idk about the 2nd part, but yeah, this was a Big Money trip for sure
As a Nevadan who has lived in Vegas my entire life, I absolutely adored these videos. I felt like I was walking along with you guys! My dad has constructed several of the hotels & casinos you guys stayed in, and it was really cool to be able to see the full experience inside of them :-) Edit: also major kudos to you for walking the entire strip in the July heat, that’s just crazy lol
This video is also INCREDIBLY beneficial for people who wanna plan a trip to Vegas. I lived in Nevada for 5 years and went to Vegas like every other year when I was younger and it can seems super overwhelming and intimidating because there’s just SO much to do and see but this really breaks it down so people can see which hotel/resort suits their tastes and where to go for cool exhibits and attractions. I haven’t gone to Vegas in about ten years since I moved but this has me feeling so nostalgic and I desperately want to plan a trip now lol.
@@deijix THIS IS ME, and Saf & Ty’s interest in activities aligns more with what I’m interested in so I’d love to go back now and I’m compiling my own lists 😂
My dad also built a few casinos down on the strip so it was really fun seeing them in a video but also as someone who is a Vegas native and grew up playing tourist these videos even showed me new things.
My parents have worked at our local Harrah's for years and I can confidently say your deduction of the theme being "purple" is the most accurate I've ever heard
I cannot believe I binged both parts while simultaneously doing my laundry, cooking meatballs, and washing dishes. Thank you for spurring my productivity, Saf and Tyler!
I’m so happy that Paul rescued your ring! It reminded me of the time I very nearly lost mine on the beach... I was 100% sure and resigned to the fact that it was gone for good, but when we went back on the spot we had been at, there it was, sitting on the sand. I instantly cried my eyes out with relief...
My mom lost a ring at a beach once, too, except in the ocean. We were sure it was lost forever and then a wave came and there it was, literally brought to my feet. Finding things we thought were lost is the best feeling!
I went when I was under 21 (so I couldn't drink, gamble, anything typically Vegas) and I had a blast. It has that DisneyWorld vibe with all the mega resorts and theming.
My brother and I almost didn't go because we thought it was about the gambling. We went anyway and had the time of our lives, eating crazy food, drinking a bit and just taking in the sights. We hate gambling but there's enough to do for even the most introverted of folks. :) We're itching to back again.
there's also a lot to do off of the strip too!!! i have been multiple times and low-key my favorite experiences were the GORGEOUS hiking trails through the desert-ish mountains. absolutely breathtaking :))
As someone who is already married, doesn't drink, and is afraid to gamble, Vegas is honestly a good time 😆There's lots of interactive exhibits like the Avengers one these guys did, as well as plenty of restaurants, shows, games, and other experiences. What a ride!
Lol that’s the first thing I think of every time I watch a TH-cam video with any kind of expenditure in it. I put it down to watching a lot of Grace Helbig back in the day and her always joking about her rubber chickens/giant giraffe statue/prop wigs (you get the idea) being a tax write off. Once the veil has been lifted…
I think people have a misconception of what a "tax write-off" actually is. It doesn't mean that these things are free. It just means that they are not taxed on these business expenses in the same way they are taxed on personal expenses, since they're part of operating their business. They still had to pay for these.
As a Vegas native and someone who works on the Strip, I gotta say thank you so much for making these videos. I had a blast seeing you visit some of my favorite spots.
LITERALLY. i’m also a local but not really an adult yet so i never got to venture anywhere in the hotels or casinos around here my whole life (besides the circus circus arcade). but watching this video made me feel more like a real vegas local.
SAFIYA!!! I am a Venetian Gondolier, and if I would have known a You and Tyler were at the Venetian, I would have taken you Myself!! No Frank Sinatra!! LOL. Seriously, if You and Tyler are ever back at the Venetian, look me up. You two are Awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Just out of curiosity, how did you get your job? Do they look for theatre majors? Or do they train you in ~gondoling~ before you start the job? Does it pay you well? Is it rude to tip a gondolier or is it appreciated?
@@kayalvizhi7611 Great Questions Kayal. There is an audition process with around two weeks of Gondola training to get you use to the Gondolas as well as learning Italian songs and dialect. And the gratuities are ALWAYS appreciated. 😁 Have a wonderful day. ❤️
She is probably more like a this is just a token/thing and doesn’t define my marriage or my relationship peoples. Saying as one of those 😂 i am from a culture where you ‘have to must’ wear at least three different things if you are a married woman and i wear whatever i feel like, rarely all three.
My grandma actually lost hers in their first year of marriage. So grandpa got her a new one because they loved each other. She found the original one years later while gardening and she's now wearing both.
The way you both were at peace with Safiya’s wedding ring being swallowed whole by the linq astounds me??! You would have found me making some sort of contraption with a hanger 😂
I know. I was like "WHAT CALL SOMEONE GET IT BACK DONT LEAVE IT" they seemed really at ease with not having it anymore, maybe its not that important to them
@@hellohellohi18 I mean they clearly did since they had a maintenance guy save it in the end!! They def held it together on camera but I honestly can't imagine how stressed they must have been, they had a VERY strict itinerary, so they couldn't just spend the whole day trying to save it. It's super admirable they were able to make peace with it at least to some degree, because at the end of the day they have each other and that's all the ring represented-yanno materials aren't THAT important-but I definitely think there's a reason they cut back to it being saved by a maintenance guy lmao for something that precious and sentimental, I'm sure they went to all the lengths they could to possibly save it lmao

I'm guessing their servants carried most of it before returning to their quarters in the odd hotels. Also that's who the valet closet is probably for. As a rich guest would travel with a personal servant when using hotels like the original Waldorf-Astoria.
My guess is they dropped their stuff at the room in hotel one of the day then circled back to get it when it was time to check in to their room for the night.
I kinda wish that they would have showed that part more. Although it wasn't the point of the video so it makes sense. I did see Saf dragging a rolling suitcase once!
considering the environmental impact of cruise ships idk if this would be a good idea. firstly, because i just personally don't think it should be promoted/advertised (but that is a purely personal opinion, that no one but me cares about) and also secondly because i could see it causing some negative backlash for saf :/
I’m shocked there’s not more mid-century classic type hotels. I get why they moved away from that stuff to the more heavily-themed and luxury hotels but mid-century is back in vogue and those old resorts are such a big part of Vegas history.
ngl this is my like 4th rewatch of this video but i always wish that there were more hotels that either hadnt been renovated too drastically from how they once were, or were renovated specifically to look kind of vintage- im just not a fan of like modern gray and white aesthetics tbh
one random thing that caught my eye at all these hotels are how large the room numbers are! most hotels where i live only have room numbers that go up to the hundreds. the hotel rooms in safiya’s videos have 5 digit numbers! fascinating
The dedication to walking between them all and living your best black clothes life despite the sun is just commendable🖤🦇 You had so many amazing outfits!
I kept saying to myself “just take the rail!” But I get it, they want to show the whole experience of walking the strip. I walked from New York New York to Planet Hollywood for a show and I thought I was going to die 😂
I’ve been to Vegas many times. And usually after 2 days I am so burnt out and ready to go home. How they managed to do 2 weeks with all the walking and activities, I’ll never know. Kudos! I can only imagine how exhausting that was.
Seriously...the old saying often attributed to Benjamin Franklin, "Guests, like fish, begin to smell after three days" is like Vegas personified. TWO WEEKS. Amazing.
I have been holding off on watching these videos because they seemed so overwhelming to watch but honestly...getting to see the rooms/entertainment sections in all of the biggest hotels in only 2 videos AND getting an honest opinion is incredibly informative and I'll be using that info for next time I visit. I've been to Vegas only a few times, and I haven't even stepped foot in most of the hotels on the strip! Kudos to you and your crew for trekking that far every day. Thanks for always making quality content.
This is freaking cool! Safiya you really out did yourself this time! My mom is a travel agent and said "i wish i could give her some money because this is really cool" she loved that ya'll showcased each room and were so objective with these reviews she even shared your channel with her coworkers!
I'm a concierge for one of these hotels and I'm fr tempted to share these videos with my coworkers LOL I knew about most of the attractions they covered, but the indoor mini golf and seeing all the rooms for each resort was new to me!
I know that Excalibur was in part 1 but my biggest gripe with it is that there is not a sword in the stone statue at Excalibur. There is a bar called the sword in the stone but the sword that that the hotel is named and themed around is not to be seen! You could have a welded in sword that people can try to pull as a free attraction! So simple, so easy and yet it is a missed opportunity!!
Safiya is so pretty, every outfit she wears is just chef's kiss, her hair is so healthy and her face is so cute And besides that she is also a lovely person, she's a complete treasure
I can't believe I just spent two hours watching these videos for a city I probably won't ever go to, but that's a testament to how lovely your videos are to watch, so there ya go.
Why not go to vegas? Too far away? A lot of people dont get vegas… but it does have a lot going for it… i think vegas will grow a lot in the next decade… one thing i wish it had, a massive cedar park theme/water park… and a subway!!!!
@@Dawho99 Idk about OP, but I have no interest of going to the US, and even if I do go there, Las Vegas is definitely not in the top ten places I'd visit first. It just seems like a tourist trap in every single way.

If you guys are going to do more crazy hotel/trip videos in the future, might I suggest the Roxbury in the Catskills? They've got a whole bunch of cabins, king sized rooms, and full suites in their motel, and each area is balls to the walls THEMED. You wanna feel like Dracula? They got a cabin for that, complete with gothic architecture and a creepy throne on the second floor! In a revolutionary war mood? Saf and Tyler, this series was SO original, well planned, unique and enjoyable! Haven’t seen anything else like it! It was so fun to watch! Always top content from you two! Thanks so much! Makes me want to visit Vegas now! Can’t wait for the restaurant video!
So, fun fact: the mirror in the shower in the Cromwell doubles as a see-through glass with the right lighting. Stayed there once with one of my best friends and sooo glad we noticed this before either of us took a shower, lol. Love these videos! Thank you so much!
I watch a lot of people who live stream for a living...they do similar stuff as vloggers except it's not edited - it's all live and I would feel safe saying when you travel either live or record/edit it, it's not really a true vacation...so much to deal with just keeping all the equipment going properly and setting up shots. My guess is some people think this will be "easy work" but end up working harder than in most traditional job...but the payoff is you are working for yourself...and the chance at becoming rich/famous. My guess is, they focus on planning and filming and most likely are big enough now to have people that edit or help with edit as that is a huge part of all this...
@@VandelayIndustriesLLC they do have a crew of editors, they list it in the description. They also have a team to handle the logistics like booking and testing out stuff. I'm sure other people have already said this since I'm a month late to the party, but just in case... Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile shops used to be the Desert Passage when the property was still the Aladdin. The area inside the shops that randomly gets all "Agrabah"-esque, is a vestige of those days. And, there's a little desert rainstorm that happens there a few times a day at the fountains.
We really need a "what I wore in Vegas" video because Saf's outfits were too cute! Especially that black mini dress and the dress from Part 1 with the clouds and dragons on it!!
So I have a fake engagement ring, which as a frequent city jumper in Europe, is so much nicer, recently went to Poland to help out with the Ukrainian refugees (I work for a manufacturer of medicine, in Denmark and we are aware that refugees usually mean pandemic, because well refugee camps are never truly clean) So I have a very expensive 18 carat with diamond ring, and a gilded silver ring with what I think is a plastic stone😂
The word gets overused so much, but these videos are actually epic 🤯 I'm in awe of the planning, logistics, cost, and just overall stamina to do so much in such a short amount of time.
I've never felt remotely interested in going to Vegas because I figured it was just gambling, but these videos make me want to do something similar. Staying in a different hotel every few nights and just exploring the surrounding areas seems like such a good time (if you have the money lol). Vegas tourism should pay you for these videos
We went to vegas and the closest we got to a casino was walking through it to get to our room in the palazzo! Definitely so much to do… especially if you’re a foodie!
These two videos were some of the best work you've done yet and that's SAYING something since the standard is high already. I think it was just the right amount of information for each hotel, I got to feel like I was visiting a bit too, and the recs at the end felt earned. Really, really fun and I hope we get more like this!
Fun fact: MGM used to have an extensive wizard of oz walkthrough that they ended up tearing down because it was brining in too many families and they thought they were losing money with the casino portion.
Yep. Back in the 90's Vegas tried to go more family friendly but like you wrote, they were gambling less, or not at all due to bringing their kids. I went through the Wizard of Oz walkthrough and wasn't all that impressed.
As a local, it’s nice to see the insides of the rooms. Mainly for a staycation when my bf visits. You’re both so strong to walk all that way in the summer heat.
It's a testament to your skills that my short attention span let me watch both episodes all of the way through. Also, now I really want to go to Vegas.
That’s exactly what I’m saying! I have ADHD and rarely will watch stuff through without getting bored and I actually watched through both Las Vegas videos without getting bored lol
I love Safiya, but I thought I wouldn't be able to watch the full part 1 video yet here I am. I'm super impressed I was able to watch without impulse closing it
I think these videos have two diametrically opposed effects on people - some now really want to go Vegas, and some have now vowed to never go near that horrid place lol. I'm certainly the latter
I have a terribly short attention span yet somehow you managed to make me sit through the whole 2 hours of video footage. Amazing work Safiya and Tyler (and the rest of the team!). Must've been so tiring editing the whole thing. And I also really really appreciate the CC.
As someone who’s never been to Vegas this is so helpful. It seems so overwhelming just watching your videos. I cannot imagine trying to plan a trip with all the things to see and do.
If i had a dollar for every time Saf and Tyler had found old food in an expensive Las Vegas hotel, I’d have $2.. which is not much but it’s weird that it happened twice.
tbh I feel like that's p common in hotels. it's happened in a few I've been in of varying star levels. i could see it being easy to miss from a cleaning perspective bc it's out of sight out of mind esp in hotels where fridge is disguised in the cabinets or something. also I am definitely guilty of forgetting my leftovers after checking out and may have inadvertently contributed to the cycle of old food in hotel fridges 😔
@@catcat4181 What's the weirdest is that it was in paid mini bars where it's someone's job to come in and count any food items you took so you can be charged for them. Normally the hotel is very aware of what is in that fridge.
@@karaitskara People don't physically count the mini-bar items. They have sensors underneath each item. Pick it up and the sensor immediately triggers the billing system to add it to the room charge. Even if you just looked at it and put it back it's usually too late.
I recently stayed at the Paris and was way too curious about the red lights in the Ramsay Steak, I asked and they said it’s actually an abstract art piece and each neon scribble is actually a hand motion Gordon goes through when making his Wellington! Also loved these videos and can’t imagine the planning that went into this 👏🏻

As a customer service manager I'm very curious how both hotels handled the food left in the mini fridges.
yeah, I'm wondering too.... I've certainly had rooms upgraded for less.
Ditto. Definitely a housekeeping issue.
I’m wondering too. I think the automatic response would have been to upgrade them, but considering they were staying just one night each maybe they got discounts for the next visit or for some restaurants?
Not sure, upvoting so maybe Saf will see us and let us know!
Also, the fact that this happened to them twice on the same trip, in two different hotels... It's never happened to me in any hotel ever!
I'm sure she could get a whole other video talking about the service points that stood out during this trip!

That makes sense
Yep! The conjoined rooms are pretty popular for families to do :)

@@valentineitor.a Yes, she can not answer. I didnt threaten anything if she didnt

On one thing you are wrong. How is it not just a big mall? You can disagree on whether it is a bad or good thing; but not on reality
I dont like consumerism, turbo capitalism, and cannot morally justify keeping sharks in the middle of the desert, wasting idk how much energy to try to combat nature.
[Those are still not my type of holiday, but if you want to get bored in a ferrish wheel, get stuck in the London Eye at least]
Also idk, to me the idea of trying food from different parts of the world, while not being there, is not a holiday goal.

I'm exhausted having just watched them. I feel like I need a nap
I love how Saf went from moderately disappointed in Johnny Rockets to complete arch nemesis by the end 😂😂😂
F Johnny Rockets! Because Safiya said so. The Italian market looked way better for real or even the brunch on day one at The Four Seasons.
As a housekeeper in a hotel I can safely say this is exactly why you need to remember to check the fridge in every room
Apparently it happens all the time. Some beaches you can call metal detector enthusiasts to come out & they'll find it in 5 mins.
My mom lost a ring at a beach once, too, except in the ocean. We were sure it was lost forever and then a wave came and there it was, literally brought to my feet. Finding things we thought were lost is the best feeling!
As an European now I finally know why people go to Vegas. I thought it was just a "gamble, get drunk and marry a stranger" place 😂😂
Well, kind of ironic that a major US (!) destination relies heavily on immitations of Paris, Venice and Egypt.

I think people have a misconception of what a "tax write-off" actually is. It doesn't mean that these things are free. It just means that they are not taxed on these business expenses in the same way they are taxed on personal expenses, since they're part of operating their business. They still had to pay for these.

I will never understand how Safiya was so chill about losing her wedding band
She is probably more like a this is just a token/thing and doesn’t define my marriage or my relationship peoples. Saying as one of those 😂 i am from a culture where you ‘have to must’ wear at least three different things if you are a married woman and i wear whatever i feel like, rarely all three.
My grandma actually lost hers in their first year of marriage.
So grandpa got her a new one because they loved each other. She found the original one years later while gardening and she's now wearing both.
still got the husband, and he's the important part of the marriage
@@disasterbi8610 what if she lost Tyler behind the desk 😮
@@alilordoftheskies5079 new video idea??🤔
Is anybody else really excited for that celebrity chef restaurant video now? 😄
The way you both were at peace with Safiya’s wedding ring being swallowed whole by the linq astounds me??! You would have found me making some sort of contraption with a hanger 😂
i was thinking the same! i would have at least called the desk lol
I would have been freaking out so badly. They had to have been doing the same off camera. 😅
I literally came down to the comments to find if anyone else commented on this, they're so chill lol
These videos left me with the overwhelming urge to go to vegas
I went to Vegas for the first time this October and didn’t really love it, but somehow now I want to go back?
Same, I've never even been a Vegas-type person but everything looks so fun.
@@hxpewxrld It's a mall, well multiple malls
Sure, if its a day trip it is okay.. but pay for a hotel to go to a mall? I can think of hundreds (well, thousands) of places I would rather go than Vegas
As a native Vegas person.
It's not that great here but my opinion is unpopular lol
@@arma2976 I mean obviously it didn't shoot to the top of my list but there's way more to do besides gambling than I originally thought and the series opened my eyes to that
these 2 videos have become comfort videos for me
Am I the only one wondering how they transported all of their stuff and luggage?? The planning is crazy this video took so much work!
I'm guessing their servants carried most of it before returning to their quarters in the odd hotels. Also that's who the valet closet is probably for. As a rich guest would travel with a personal servant when using hotels like the original Waldorf-Astoria.
they have a team with them
My guess is they dropped their stuff at the room in hotel one of the day then circled back to get it when it was time to check in to their room for the night.
I kinda wish that they would have showed that part more. Although it wasn't the point of the video so it makes sense.
I did see Saf dragging a rolling suitcase once!
@@johndododoe1411 Servants? Lol 😂 Employees you mean right?
please consider a cruise from each popular line next! (royal caribbean, carnival, celebrity, holland america, etc) 💞
great idea! i would totally watch
Please do this! I have always wanted to go on a cruise but I dont know which line to choose
yes good idea !!!
Cruises are dangerous, many terrible stories have come from them.
considering the environmental impact of cruise ships idk if this would be a good idea. firstly, because i just personally don't think it should be promoted/advertised (but that is a purely personal opinion, that no one but me cares about) and also secondly because i could see it causing some negative backlash for saf :/
Hotel maintenance people are truly the under-appreciated, underpaid, and unsung heroes of hospitality.
Those are all in Palm Springs.
one random thing that caught my eye at all these hotels are how large the room numbers are! most hotels where i live only have room numbers that go up to the hundreds. the hotel rooms in safiya’s videos have 5 digit numbers! fascinating
It’s the floor number too, so room 678 isn’t necessarily the 678th room, but the 78th room on the 6th floor.
Yeah, it’s kind of insane that some of these hotels have over 5000 rooms! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel that big!
Vegas is INSANE
The dedication to walking between them all and living your best black clothes life despite the sun is just commendable🖤🦇
You had so many amazing outfits!
TWO WEEKS. Amazing.
I just got back from vegas. I only there for a little over 24 hours and I’m exhausted lol
No kidding. I did 4 days and even though it was a blast, I was ready to get home.
Any more than 3 nights in Vegas is way too much. 2 nights is just right.
That's all I was thinking through these videos!
This was so well done. Saf & Tyler should have their own travel show.
omg yes, if they ever make a US version of Travel Man saf and tyler should be first pick
YES
This *is* a travel show.
2 hours of new Safiya and Tyler?! Yay! Lazy Sunday afternoon on the couch, here I come!!🛋🥔
I know that Excalibur was in part 1 but my biggest gripe with it is that there is not a sword in the stone statue at Excalibur. There is a bar called the sword in the stone but the sword that that the hotel is named and themed around is not to be seen! You could have a welded in sword that people can try to pull as a free attraction! So simple, so easy and yet it is a missed opportunity!!
Well Excalibur wasn’t the sword in the stone, it was the sword gifted to Arthur from the Lady of the Lake
Safiya is so pretty, every outfit she wears is just chef's kiss, her hair is so healthy and her face is so cute
And besides that she is also a lovely person, she's a complete treasure
I can't believe I just spent two hours watching these videos for a city I probably won't ever go to, but that's a testament to how lovely your videos are to watch, so there ya go.

Stay in the Mansion, where that themed suite has the best view on the second floor. The have a Wizard of Oz room AND a French rococo suite in the motel. Even their non themed rooms are more colorful and visually interesting than every other hotel room I've ever been to in my life put together.
i hope they do that ! for the next video !

Love these videos! Thank you so much!
This seems like the kind of vacation you need a vacation to recover from! Looked so fun!
Right?! I'd be exhausted from all the walking alone lol.
I've been to Vegas twice, have firmly decided it's not the spot for me, and these videos made me want to go back, lol
Shout out to everyone including any crew who made these videos possible!! I know this must have been somewhat of a team effort!!

There are a TON of stuff that isn’t gambling and all the shows I have been to are 10/10
I know, right? Gambling isn't really my jam, I never enjoyed it myself, but fun theming events and food I'll go for
We went to vegas and the closest we got to a casino was walking through it to get to our room in the palazzo!
The look Saf makes when Tyler says they can make a killer pillow fort just shows her inner child

I like that it has something for every taste :)
If i had a dollar for every time Saf and Tyler had found old food in an expensive Las Vegas hotel, I’d have $2.. which is not much but it’s weird that it happened twice.
Very weird
tbh I feel like that's p common in hotels. it's happened in a few I've been in of varying star levels. i could see it being easy to miss from a cleaning perspective bc it's out of sight out of mind esp in hotels where fridge is disguised in the cabinets or something. also I am definitely guilty of forgetting my leftovers after checking out and may have inadvertently contributed to the cycle of old food in hotel fridges 😔
