I remember seeing both of you at the finish line! I was there running the 110km on the Saturday, and saw you crossing that finish line Sunday. It must have been an incredible moment to be cheered by this big crowd! Congrats and well done!
Good job! I'm running QMT 100M this year, in couple weeks. How much water did you carry? I heard two 0.5L flaks (1.0L total) might not be sufficient...Was this your experience? How technical was the trail? Thx!
Be ready to go through two nights. When I did the race, early on in the event the aid stations are quite far apart and would recommend carrying more water. It can be really hot through the night. You can get any kind of weather in this part of the country hah. There are a number of sections that are quite technical (Mestachibo section is most unassuming on the elevation profile, but it is a few km of stair and rock climbing along a river canyon) . There are a number of sections that are not technical at all. One of the best organized races in the country, great volunteers.
