Great fly! I packed my stuff for tomorrow for traveling New York City and leaving early at 3 AM to avoid bad traffic so I can see Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, eat, and relax there until Monday.
Yeah, I haven’t gotten the 19 river visual approach in like 8 years 😂. It’s only on days when I’m not flying that they use that one haha. So I’ll take the departure instead 😂.
WOWOWOWOW!!! Super-Awesome view of the Washington Monument. I've been to IAD but never DCA. Anyhow, time for me to watch today's General Hospital. So... who shot Austin? Is he really dead? How many times are they going to kill off Roger Howarth? Will Todd Manning come back? So... getting ready for T-Day dinner. My GF's mom fell and broke her humerus bone near her shoulder while hiking, so we'll see how this all factors in with our holiday plans.
@@sla31 Yes, it was awful. She was hiking on a trail and stepped on a branch covered with leaves. When she stepped on it, the branch flung up and hit her, causing her to fall over onto a rock. The impact on the rock was what caused the fracture. This was a natural booby trap. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She said that she was in great pain. I told her about a subliminal and meditation program called Accelerate Recovery After Injury and another program called The Inner Healer to help her brain focus on healing. I know there are a bazillion programs like this out there, but the ones I recommended to her are the very best on the market. I've spent decades looking at these kinds of things, so I know which ones really work and which ones don't. These are mp3 files, so if she decides to purchase them, she'll be able to download them and listen to them immediately, no CDs to wait for via UPS. Anyhow, we'll see what she and her hubby decide about what they want to do for T-Day. They live in Bainbridge Island which means taking a ferry over here. The Edmonds ferry is down to just 1 boat, so they'll probably take the BI ferry and drive up from Downtown Seattle. We'll see how this all goes. Regardless, my GF and I plan to eat lots of turkey and I LIVE for the pecan pie that my GF's mom's very good friend always makes.
I suppose the quickest way for a pilot to lose his license and job is to go rogue, making a right turn to fly in restricted airspace over the 'touristy' area that would include the White House and the Capitol complex--oh look, is that an F-16 ready to shoot us down? :) Those -700's do have a little kick to them on takeoff!
