We want you to imagine that you are the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of a major organisation. Sometimes, leaders of big companies have to make tough decisions, and this week we have one of those decisions for you to think about.
We will be talking about the word “empathy” and how it can help us make the right decisions when things get hard. It’s important to think like an adult and try to see things from everyone’s point of view. Even though you have to make the final decision, you need to understand how it will affect everyone involved.
Watch the video provided to learn more about the scenario for this week, and work together as a team to come up with a decision. Then, present your ideas to the class for discussion and debate. Remember, it’s important to think about how your decision will impact everyone involved, and to use empathy to help guide your choices.
