Is this made of steel of aluminium? And can you tell me how thick the plate is?

I would say it is 10/3 of an inch plate steel it is very solid better than any other hitch I have ever had

Are you able to flex hitch up and down while installed on bike? My steel plate actually will flex.

This hitch does not flex at all on my bike will not move even a very tiny bit
