Excellent that. Dealt with the unexpected really well and covered the hood itself when installing the ducting to keep it tidy. Too many people end up dinking brand new stuff
Video was very informative so thanks for that. Music however was very annoying to the point I was having to adjust the volume all the time. Sometimes silence between commentary is a better alternative.
@@renovateinnovate appreciate the response. I'm seeing the 6inch ducting needs a 160mm diamond core drill bit. Is this what you used if i may ask please as i can only see 152mm diamond core bits on Screwfix? Thanks for your time

Really appreciate the feedback. We are always trying to improve our editing skills on the channel so much appreciated 👍
Great! But how did you plug it in???
Can i ask what the size of the ducting was? Also, how did you secure the duct to the cooker hood?
Hi, we used 6inch ducting and it was secured with a large jubilee clip. Hope that helps 👍

@@karimabdullah2925 No problem! Yes we used a 152mm bit but there was enough give in the ducting to squeeze it through - hope that helps
@@renovateinnovate yes it does. Spot on. Thanks for all your help. Wish you all the success in your projects. Take care mate
this is very nice video to understand inside~!
Glad you liked it!
When you placed the second section of the pipe cover on. Was it a sliding fit from the hood ?
Thanks for the comment. Yes it was a sliding fit. Good luck!
Awesome 👌
Thanks a lot! 👍👍
Good work, 👍
Thanks!
didnt see the wiring thats what i was looking for
Can you hire that drill cutter bit? 150mm diameter cutter would be expensive to buy
Very helpfull. Just fitted ours exactly same hood.instructions aren't great with these.
Glad it helped
Great video. What make and model of hood did you install?
Can you recommend a good one?
Thanks
Sorry cant remember the brand, but go for a recognised brand which has good air movement ratings.
In order for it to work, you need to connect the power supply. Did you forget to include that step or did you do it off-camera?
The electrician connected the power supply off camera
why did the cover have to go all the way to the ceiling if the first half covered the ducting already?
That is just the best way of doing it, we believe.
Were on the verge of no return but we can take it back ! We are the many 🏴✝️🇬🇧
Incomplete,where was the wiring.
The wiring was done by the electrician, as we are not certified
@@renovateinnovate you still should have shown wiring.
What’s the average fee for this type of job please including the electrician fee for the wiring?
