Yes!!! I just stumbled upon this looking for videos from Melissa. My aunt had her debut album on cassette tape. I remember going on day trips with her and my gram around New England, especially the coast listening to her tape driving around in the late 90’s early 2000’s.It reminds me of the fun memories I had as a kid.
This was my dear aunt Shawny's favorite song 🎵❤ it makes me feel as though she's with me when I hear it! I picture her dancing around the house, windows open, warm air breezing through, and her "larger than life" voice belting out every lyric 💜 thank you, I needed this ! We lost her in December of 2019 but know she's watching over us and protecting her loved ones as she did when she was here on earth.

Kind of like Filter's "I'm not the only one", so much raw emotion. You can't replicate it or fake it - you either have it or you don't. In MMA people talk about 'levels' and the separations between good and great fighters. Melissa has that separation in music. Just a truly elite level of talent. No pretending with her. She just kind of "is" rocknroll. Her music has received a lot of acclaim but I think it's still underappreciated.
