Just a quick question if you mind. Even if they don't do the SMG class at milsims, does that mean you can't bring SMGs outright or just not be considered a special class?
I'd love to listen to different videos on each class with someone who normally runs that class or has experiences with it. Get their thoughts, pro and cons, loadout, choice if weapon and stories from using that class to it's strengths.
The LMG video this guy did is how i found the chsnnel. Id love to see a video on each class too and a narrated gameplay video explaining what theyr doing as that class and what decisions they made as that class.
i think you should also talk about badly designed airsoft fields and milsim fields, i see a lot of milsim fields that are just open space where you and your enemy are just staring at eachother out of range, kinda takes away from the game when youre in shouting distance but cant hit anyone. it also goes the opposite way where some fields go for the gears of war cover shooter style of field where all you can do is lay suppressive fire and hope you get a lucky shot
my first event i went to i was a DMR. i rapidly learned that you need to tune your gun up for it and that(and even more so as a sniper) you NEED to know the lay of the land to be truly effective. i still had fun. but doing a bit of work and research would have made me a much greater asset to the team. next year i went as a rifleman and got way more accomplished, since then i've run grenadier and smg more often than other classes. and those have both been a blast. and considering im usually a squad lead they make stand out less from my squad so im a little less likely to get dropped first by a sniper
Your Sniper comments - SPOT ON! Now Novritsch, Swamp Sniper, and KickingMustang amongst others have blown up the sport. The problem is, they don't describe how long it takes, and that once they are discovered almost the ENTIRE enemy team is going to hunt for you. KickingMustang does go into detail here and there from time to time ... but you can only grasp it if you watch all his stuff religiously. Now I am just getting into the sport ( bought 4 different rifles, because I wanted to try the basic 4 classes ) and starting to mod my weapons a year later... but the actual utilizing you and the weapon you bought/build is where the magic happens. And sooooo many people play CoD and such, and snipe,a nd then watch aforementioned snipers do their thing- they think it's easy. When they don't get a single kill and basically are just respawning all the time, they get discouraged and quit. We need a popular "Rifleman" to rise up and conquer some of the Airsoft Tube area, just to show the people there's more than sniping and LMG suppression/ slaughtering... we need a tactical rifleman youtuber !!!!!
I've only been to a few milsim, mainly Broken Home, and I ran as a rifleman the first year with my HPA, then as a medic with my 416c AEG. Both having the firepower of the rifleman, but with medic I noticed I spent a lot more time getting teammates back into the fight and a LOT less time fighting myself. Whenever I did, I noticed it was because I HAD to and the other team was getting too close. I noticed one other medic that was in a conjoined squad with mine, he was only running an SMG with a few extra mags. He and I talked a bit and he had some really good points I noticed that first time I played medic. Since then, I also use an SMG when I play medic because I have found the reduction in weight and size of the gun allows me to move more freely and more quickly to downed teammates. I only fight when I need to because I don't have the range anymore, but the loss of range is made up in my ability to keep my team alive. P.S. AMS does have SMG rules, but all it says it that SMGs have the same ruleset as a rifleman so not much of an SMG class.
If Taginn grenades were $1 each, games would become extremely scurry as everyone must constantly try to avoid getting shelled in by a dude with a milkor.
Dude, you cats make incredible content. Just found your channel (watched like 20 videos already) and absolutely appreciate your content and production so much. Keep it up, us new guys are still catching on to the hobby and your work!
Another point about noveritchs skill is that, he is a legitimate sniper in the Austrian army. He didnt just pick it up and practice a little bit, he legitimately has several years of practice and significant military training under his belt.
I love your videos man you can really tell how passionate you are about airsoft. It makes what you have to say so much more entertaining to watch. Thanks for getting me back into airsoft brother I hope to see you on the field one day
I started as a rifleman bush camping, did the logical next step to sniper. Now i have way too much fun with my lmg compared to sniping. I still like being sneaky and ambushing people, but its far more my style to use a pistol or rifle at the ranges i usually find myself in.
i remember getting a nerf howler from my 203 through the top of a vehicle at LC3 and being so happy that i didn't care what happened for the rest of the game. little did i know that at the moment my spring would shatter that i would get a squad wipe with it too while charging an emplacement. best AS game day ever
As a team sniper, I don't disagree with what you had to say but you missed a point. Snipers like DMRs can be support weapons in that they have the range to suppress the bad guys allowing for your squad to close in. I find that I am often shooting at open windows, not necessarily to take out a specific target but to keep heads down. In shorter skirmishes, snipers are basically dmrs with the disadvantage of a slow rate if fire because there is no real time to flank and set up unnoticed.
I've got 2 SMGs. One is perfect, the other is an oddball. Black pand purple Tec9, sometimes with a buffer tube and stock on it, with a drum is a perfect room clearer. MC51 with a 500 round hicap or a 3000 round dual drum is a bit silly. Heavy as sin, stock's uncomfortably long to shoulder, so I just keep it collapsed.
In my opinion, the Ghillie suit loadout for snipers is wonderful if their primary task is scouting and using their radio, as you said. I once played with a sniper who had a spotting scope and only shot 3 times over a period of 2 hours. One shot took out an enemy commander NPC, which had a severe effect on the enemy's ability to coordinate. A sniper who must regularly engage with enemy units should use viper hoods and be paired with a grenadier spotter in order to make up for the sniper's lack of firepower.
In the Netherlands we have fixed joule limits and ammo limits. 1,2J for pistols and riffles with a max bb weight of 0,3. DMR is 1,7J and a max of 0,4 and lastly bolt action snipers 2,4J and a max of 0,4.
The nice thing about smg rules is that with an aeg and a quick change spring you can swap to rifleman rules if you find that field is better for it. So with an ump, a vector, or an mp5 I would make a small kit with an 95 spring for full auto 1j and a max rifleman spring closer to the 1.5j. my kit is a flathead screwdriver, and a small hammer for pulling pins and the spring. For open plays a drum is just easier with the vector, I can run all day on one fill, and it's very light in the summer not carrying a rig at all.
If you’re a bigger person, can lug a 20lb gun and it’s ammo for hours, hate reloading, and are ok with a little bit of back pain and you’re thinking about support gunning, try it. I was thrown into it as a Reenactor and thought I was gonna hate it but ended up loving it
This video should be orientation for all airsoft players. Also make me super excited for full auto 2021 because I my perfect smg (Thompson), and lmg (M249) just arrived.
I'm a riflemen kind of guy. Lmao I'm so riflemen that I took a cyma SR25, slapped a 10.5 in barrel and handguard on it, and shoot 1.5 joule. It touches people, inappropriately at times. It's wicked fun though. I recommend every one has a short barrel 308 style replica. Shout out to Evike Matt for showing me the light.
At my local fields, no full auto unless it's a recognized LMG model, most events. And ghillie suits don't care what type of gun you have, they'll still make you invisible of your sitting still
Agreed I run a hpa accurate recce rifle set up 14.5 for medium to indoor ranges and a 18inch upper for outside open field game play. Now looking for a good range pistol and a sniper rifle to start learning I am a old guy I don't mind calling out postions of enemy movements and limited combat situations the radio is more deadly than a bullet..
I might wanna add about machine guns, since I'm a machine gunner myself. The parts aren't cheap and aren't easy to find in some countries like here in Indonesia. If your MGs are damaged, well good luck finding replacement parts...
Between covid and burnout, Amy's taken an extended break from airsoft. She may or may not return depending on if her heart returns to the hobby. She's pursuing other things currently.
21:15 I heard about a shell called the Matrix Vx-1, and it seems like a less powerful, cheaper alternative to a Tag. Have you had any experience with it, if so what are your thoughts?
I know an old vid. and as a sniper i fully agree. on a normal sunday game i normaly use 20-40 bb's on my sniper- and if i get more then 10 hit's i'm happy. tho, i don't agree whit youre opinion for ghilli. tho we paly in woodlands, and full ghili is nice.
The Taginn grenades are really a game changer and I was wondering about standalone grenade launchers in the real world : are they carried by the operator with a sling or holster, and said operator also carries a rifle (to which the grenade launcher cannot directly mount to) ? Or are these standalone GL kept in the back and used for a specific situation in a firefight ? Are they solely made for training ? Great video otherwise, love to hear that kind of content !
So in the real army, grenadier will depend on leadership, personal reference and availability of weapon. In my deployments we had the 203 m4 attachments and our grenadiers would carry as much 203 rounds on them on top of the 7 mag basic load out. So around 30-40 rounds. When I deployed to Afghanistan in 2011 we ran into 1st ID guys and their grenadiers had the barrel type grenade launcher, no m4 and a sidearm. They had the availability to outfit most of their grenadiers that way. Since we were a brigade size element we didn't have the funding. General rule for every position, carry as much ammo type for your class. I was a mortar, so I carried 10 mags on my chest rig, 7 mags in the assault pack, 2 60 mm mortar rounds. 6 smoke grenades with different colors, the m64 sight unit, mhbc for mortar calculations during fire missions, extra clothes and MREs for the mission. My gunner carrier the same amount plus the tube and handheld baseplate. My AB carried the but the bipod and baseplate. A Saw gunner team would carry 600 rounds on chest rig and more in assault pack. A m240 gun team would carry 800 rounds.

I have a question, and maybe this comment section can help: The grenadier. Say I'm running a Stoner LMG, am I also allowed to have on my person a standalone M320 to launch taggin rounds as well and still be a machine gunner? Or am I only allowed the EG67 on my person
As a primary sniper it really should be reclassified as "recon". There is rarely hollywood action level 🤣🤣🤣 You need SOLID comms gear and land nav skills will be very handy!!!

Do any of the Gun Gamers have experience with the MilSim Labs M-29 40mm Foam Rockets? From what I've seen they seem to work much better than other foam projectiles.
Ad my field we also have specops klas that are used to infeltrade anime lines the don't have band which coller they are or clothing. But need to look specops end use specops weapons like a skopion Evo a 300 blackout rifle 308 rifels end semiautomatic snipers use a silicer can make traps, use boms end granedes use the other theme coms end cal in bombartbents end airstrikes. But can be easily to get to be a prisinor of war. End work on the field alone only comicate from coms
Hey man, awesome videos! I’m in a band called August Burns Red, not nearly as heavy as Cattle decapitation, but we have our own beer and I’d love to send ya a can of our coffee stout if you’d like?! Anyways, keep up the good work! Appreciate your vids!

@@Daniel-mm8yb the problem is, the idea that a m27 is to replace a fire support weapon is absolutely bat shit crazy thinking. Like who ever thought that is completely out of touch with modern warfare (I.E. from about 1900- to present day) Wars are getting more and more about who can throw the most about of death in a bomb/gun at a area and not about who can shoot a couple of shots into a visible target. This is more of a rant of who ever allowed the m27 to replace a squad lmg.
A few thoughts on sniper role, I am what I would consider a ok / consistent sniper (not great by any means). I tend to get roped into it because my sneaky game seems to be better than most. That disclaimer out of the way, patience is key, ghili suits good ghili bush bad. By that I mean ghili suits shoud be light, mobile, have good air-flow and just enough to get the job done. most of what i tend to see looks like a wookie mated with a bush, neither doing a passable job for concealment or allowing the mobility for repositioning. If you do go for the sniper role first get a good spotter then get comfy and never fire at the first available target and for all that is holy learn to sew chaos without getting seen. Everything E House said aside from that is spot on from what I have seen
stealth, recon, patience, and sometimes just enjoying nature... I love playing the sniper. 😎 The occasional well placed head shot is also nice and very gratifying. 😉
Dude seriousely tho this is airsoft and there are stuff that don’t make sense in ur discussion. First me with an m4 aeg (shooting 420fps) + a 4x scope is just as affective as me with a vsr10, shooting 36-43 gram bb. My mp5 is probably better then a stock m4 so the class thing sort off not make sense.
You are not wrong mang... Especially on the sniper role. Far too many people think they are gonna be all C.o.D. elite Snipey McSnipeface. Being the sniper requires an over abundance if patience, as well as the ability to roast weinies & marshmallows while singing Kumbaya for hours on end. {tent and bedroll not included}.

you know you like airsoft when you sit and talk about weapon classes (even though all guns shoot the same ammo) for 45 minutes by yourself.
Classes have different joule limits and bb weights. TAG grenades are a whole different kind of ammo.
Here's the short version: There's big guns and small guns. Big guns are bigger and small guns are smaller. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
I would argue that a tri shot shotgun, shooting 3 bbs per shot, counts as different ammo. Same goes for an AEG shooting 0.20 vs a sniper shooting 0.40

Cattle decap Is dope
Ad my field we also have specops klas that are used to infeltrade anime lines the don't have band which coller they are or clothing. But need to look specops end use specops weapons like a skopion Evo a 300 blackout rifle 308 rifels end semiautomatic snipers use a silicer can make traps, use boms end granedes use the other theme coms end cal in bombartbents end airstrikes. But can be easily to get to be a prisinor of war. End work on the field alone only comicate from coms
Where would the shotgun lie here? SMG? Or is it just relegated to a secondary weapon with jo specific classification?
Cattle decapitation?
Sick Cattle Decapitation shirt
Taginn rounds so hard to get now. :(
i understand the larping aspect of machineguns but functionally one barrel is equal to onether.
Hey man, awesome videos! I’m in a band called August Burns Red, not nearly as heavy as Cattle decapitation, but we have our own beer and I’d love to send ya a can of our coffee stout if you’d like?! Anyways, keep up the good work! Appreciate your vids!
Big fan from Phoenixville PA
My fave song by y'all is "all i want for christmas is u" 😍😍😍 FR tho you guys are epic af
@@PeterOfftrail lol I was going to say they have my favorite Christmas album.
2:08 Cattle Decapitation's got nothing on Eximperituserqethhzebibšiptugakkathšulweliarzaxułum. I can't even read it normally. Cattle Decap's better though
Some milsims should be GBBR&P only events.
Or just realcap only?
Like that cattle decapitation shirt

Garrett is the best don't even @me.
@@JustinJohnson-vc1gr You haven't even watched the video yet.
For a SAW gunner do you suggest an M27, M249, PKP/PKM, RPK, Shrike, Stoner, or M60
M27 is basically just a long 416 and a shrike is just a bubba m4.
Not lmg’s in my opinion
@@opairsoft8100 I understand the shrike but the M27 was adopted for the lmg role
@@Daniel-mm8yb the problem is, the idea that a m27 is to replace a fire support weapon is absolutely bat shit crazy thinking. Like who ever thought that is completely out of touch with modern warfare (I.E. from about 1900- to present day)
Wars are getting more and more about who can throw the most about of death in a bomb/gun at a area and not about who can shoot a couple of shots into a visible target.
This is more of a rant of who ever allowed the m27 to replace a squad lmg.
@@opairsoft8100 I agree that it was a bad decision
Is it ok if I run an M249 with an M4 box mag
Judy protect and bless Garrett 🙏
44:23 YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
Love the band tshirts. Real question is though… do you like meshuggah?;)
Cattle Decap!
Did I hear SnobRich Low key jab I love it
lets collab man, keep on keepin on bro!
Ams does not and I believe hsve got rid of the dmr class.
Correct
People didn't respect MEDs so they took it out
Save me some money thanks will just buy a sniper now..
"The BXR of airsoft" "plasma pistol BR"
Gets Halo 2 flashbacks
MMG are not very common in Germany because you are only allowed to shot full auto bellow 0,5j by law.
Can a SCAR-H with a drum mag count as a support gun?
Yeah probably
stealth, recon, patience, and sometimes just enjoying nature...
Could you in theory run a LMG and a smg at the same time
Almost no milsim allows that
not in the same weapon but two different ... m249 and an mp5 for example
@@tdro98 Yeah. Almost no milsim allows having full auto big mag capacity side arm with an lmg for example

Cattle Decap tee flex lol
You are not wrong mang... Especially on the sniper role. Far too many people think they are gonna be all C.o.D. elite Snipey McSnipeface. Being the sniper requires an over abundance if patience, as well as the ability to roast weinies & marshmallows while singing Kumbaya for hours on end. {tent and bedroll not included}.
