Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) describes a broad range of security assessment services designed to identify and help address cyber security exposures across an organization's IT estate.
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetrations Testing (VAPT) or simply, Pen testing or penetration testing, is a systematic process of determining the vulnerability of an application.
With the growing number of cyber-attacks and the increasing sophistication of malware and hacking techniques, organizations are adopting Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) as a means of identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities. Also known as penetration testing, VAPT involves a “hands-on” approach to testing the overall security of an IT infrastructure by simulating a hacker attack.

How to apply for a VAPT certificate

Dear Sir,
VAPT is not a certificate.
VAPT is a practice which is an essential requirement of ISO 27001 ISMS Standard.
It says that any organization which has implemented information security management system within their organization must perform VAPT on their systems, servers or all other devices to analyze the threats under which their information security is and can be in future.
VAPT can be done by several third party vendors who will conduct the VAPT and give you the VAPT report.
