      You're welcome Ashley. I'm delighted to hear that you like it. It was very meditative to record this, and I put my heart into finding the perfect spot with the intent to make something to help people find peace.

    The chirping of birds, especially in the early morning, is a popular sound that people find calming and relaxing. Birdsong has even been used as a form of therapy to help people with depression and anxiety.

      You are very welcome. It was a recording from the heart. I was meditating with my recorder set up, and suddenly the gibbons started doing their thing. Perhaps one of the best experiences in years!

      I had two mics on a portable mic stand. I was on a little island right next to the water in the Khoa Sok National Forest in Thailand.

    I found this through the Toddler World TV channel! I just used this video to help my kids sleep...worked like a charm! Great recording...is the video from the actual spot you recorded it?

    • @callistella3863
      @callistella3863  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Melinda Stevenson So glad to hear that it helped your kids fall asleep! And yes, the video pics you see were taken at the exact location of the recording (the recording gear was situated about 1 meter behinds the camera).

    meditation sounds ha ha !! only if you are a worldly person. too much echo, search for om namah shivai,etended version and do some proper meditation on the creator rather than the created. big difference.

    • @user-rr4to6xl3m
      @user-rr4to6xl3m 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      IMHO, there are so many "creator" of them and so many "resemblance" either.. Much confusing, thus impossibly the truth.
      And for Buddha himself, he was a follower, a practitioner and worshipped the Unknown.

    • @callistella3863
      @callistella3863  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      stewart shape Hello, this recording is completely raw. There are no echo effects or any other fx. The echo you hear is natural, the 'bounce' off the water and hills and mountains.

      Thailand is beautiful, and the people are wonderful! I hired a guide to take me to a location where the gibbons would be, and he was so nice and helpful. He had been a Buddhist monk, and was considering resigning as a guide and going back to a monastery.
