My scenario was so bad. I was conned but unfortunately MTN didn't pick my call immediately. I had to go to the nearest service center,i was late by 2 mins. Guy had withdrawn and probably thrown the card. So frustrating
Or you can reverse the transaction without going through a lot of hustles. I have seen centenary bank reverse ATM transactions that are not successful though a message has been sent to a withdrawer's phone reflecting the transnational amount. Burrow from them ideas. Bakikola batya?
The scenario that happened to me was that I sent the money through Momo agent in some place and when reached home only to find out that the number I gave was wrong one. When I tried to call the number it was not going through for several months till I gave up. I didn't know what to do and finally decided to delete the number from my phone. That's how it ended.
This is not so effective, some people are conmen who probably are at a mobile money agent and ready to withdraw. Is not possible to develop a way for us to get back our money
I think as MTN you know the number that has sent the money, if the owner is the complainant then I think you can reverse it back to the sender. The issue should not go to police

Make sure you know who you are sending to

Thanks MTN but I think you should do something better in case the parties don't agree other than spending more money and time engaging the police
