Could you see using this as a portable light stand for a photographer who has a folding wagon to transport their equipment? I shoot without an assistant and normal light stands can be a tripping hazard with other people around, and normal monopods aren't really stable enough to leave a light on and not worry about it while I'm taking pictures. I'd love to have a something like this that I could use with an AD200 for outdoor portraits. Just not sure if it's too heavy to be worth it.
I guess it's a personal preference. I have two of these in my studio and I absolutely love the fact that there's less legs to trip over. As this monopod comes in a flat, well padded box, it should be easy to bring to shoots. It's heavier than a basic light stand, but lighter than a c-stand. Not sure if my answer is of any help...;)
It doesn’t wobble unless you push it! Especially when it’s lower with a camera. If you push a light stand with the same setup I used, it will fall over.
That thing wiggles like crazy?
If it didn’t it would fall over.

@@PaulHeimlund That's very helpful, thank you!
Amazing! It consumes less space and easy to set up ❤
That’s right! I love it 😁
Good stuff 🙌🏻
Thanks! 🙏🏼
Fantastic set up, I already have an iFootage monopod, can the base be purchase separately !!
Footprint literally = stability. It’s physics
this is awesome
If I have my camera on a tripod, it's because I don't want it to wobble.
