for Symphony ORCHESTRA - Great Fugue op. 133 by L.v.Beethoven

For years I was dreaming of orchestrating Beethoven's most revolutionary masterwork - the Great Fugue, but I was doubting that this was even possible - now I did it and I am just amazed about the outcome - wildest power combined with greatest tenderness in a symphonic garment!
It has helped me to see that this work in a sense is a symphony of its own with the movements Allegro - Meno Mosso - Scherzo - Finale.
The recording was done with the outstanding tool NotePerformer.

You have done a great job. The work emerges with less struggle - the struggle is real and intrinsic to the string quartet version (where performers often finish drenched in sweat), let alone a version for solo piano two hands! Instead though the work becomes even more confident and assured, and gains in power and authority.
The orchestration is brilliantly judged and in keeping with Beethoven's own symphonies. It brings contrast and interest and is still mainly string-based as with a traditional full orchestra.
Like you I also feel this as a work in four phases, sonata form, a 'quartet within a quartet'. (Your description: Allegro - Meno Mosso - Scherzo - Finale). I have broken it into those four movements in my (amateur) piano recording, which probably can't hold a candle to this or any string quartet version.
Finally, only those who go through the process of performing, recording, analysing a piece like this gain the full understanding of all the themes, the structure, and the craftsmanship of the overall piece. What a work! Truly one for the ages.
