I think the narrator was playing off of the "13th" cuz on the trailer we see Alice die after he says 12 of her friends were murdered but yea you're absolutely right it was only 10

And for some nerdy nitpicking, none of the story actually takes place in 1981. The opening is two months after the original and the rest is five years later.
yeah and those 2 first murders are set in 1958 so they aren't her friends either. She never even meets Annie (the hitchhiker murdered) so only about 6 of her friends are murdered.
If Paramount wanted to. They could make an epic Directors Cut or Ultimate Cut of Friday The 13th Parts 2-4 into one 4 and a half hour plus epic movie. With new Opening and Closing Credits, possible alternate scenes or unused dialog, the unrated and restored kills and in 4K or (Wishful Thinking) 16 or 35mm Grindhouse format.

According to co-producer Dennis Stuart Murphy, the idea to have Jason wear a burlap sack over his head in Part 2 came from their costume designer, who figured it was the type of readily available item Jason could have conceivably and easily procured. He tried to break into the window, only it didn't break, and he ended up banging his head really hard on the glass. A shot of the infamous double-impalement was cut to avoid an "X" rating, yet a gory still photo of this censored shot appears on the back of the videocassette box. The footage of the censored portion was finally recovered in 2020 from an old VHS of the gore shots that Carl Fullerton kept for his portfolio and was included on the Scream Factory deluxe collection of the films. After a decade in gore, Fullerton ascended to the A-List of Hollywood make-up artists with Glory, The Godfather Part III, Silence of the Lambs, and Philadelphia. Victor Miller, the creator of Friday the 13th said he did not like the idea of Jason being used as the killer for this movie since he truly did intended for him to be dead in the first movie when Pamela said he drowned in the lake. I'll admit that Jason had indeed become a cool icon, but at the same time I feel bad for Miller that Paramount changed up his material.
2:07 sounded like the ole Tom and Jerry Tom yell when he is getting punished by pain. They spoil so much and yet it doesn’t kill the vibe at all I think that’s funny ashit still enjoy the thrill of watching things play out.
Me the creepiest part of the movie was when Jason Ran across the road in front of the police car and then the subsequent killing of the policeman in the shanty that whole scene gave me the creeps yeah

You seriously can't beat a good ol' slasher movie! Plus we seriously need new modern day slasher movies, because these never get old! If you can't successfully reboot the franchise, then come up with new original ideas movie makers.

The writing for most of the films is… _how do I put this without sounding too harsh…_ Poor. Very poor indeed. Most of the characters are just walking mannequins waiting to be killed, very few of them are memorable, although there are some exceptions of course. Whilst the first 4 (especially 4) are actually very intense, after that, there isn’t really any scare factor to them. They’re just fun. Not necessarily a bad thing per say, but if you’re looking for scares, you aren’t going to find them. There are many other issues I could list, but I’m keeping it brief. Provided you know these films aren’t Oscar winners however, you’ll have a great time with some really fun 80’s slashers with awesome music, awesome kills, awesome effects and probably the most badass/iconic horror villain besides Micheal Myers. I love these films, flaws and all.

I just want to write that my son said that he knows for a fact that Paul Holt was killed by Jason. He said that the part where Ginny and Paul are in the cabin and Jason crashes the window and attacks Ginny and pulls her out the window wasn't a dream sequence and that it actually happened. After Ginny was attacked by Jason she passed out and Paul tried to save Ginny but was killed by Jason. He said that after Jason killed Paul he went back to his shed and passed out..Jason woke up and then he pulled the machete out of his shoulder and crawled out of his shed and after that he then showed up at the store and he killed the couple who ran the store. He also said in Friday the 13th part 3 when they're showing the footage on television of Ginny being carried out on the stretcher you never hear the voice of the person on the television saying that Ginny Field and Paul Holt both survived and the person just simply says Ginny Field survived..So my son says it proves that Paul Holt was killed by Jason so now Friday the 13th fans finally have an answer to what happened to Paul Holt..

Friday The 13th Part 2 , 3 , and 4 are the best of the franchise imo.
Yeah, I actually liked the series better back when it was Jason as a living killer as opposed to an undead zombie.

Provided you know these films aren’t Oscar winners however, you’ll have a great time with some really fun 80’s slashers with awesome music, awesome kills, awesome effects and probably the most badass/iconic horror villain besides Micheal Myers. I love these films, flaws and all.

I just want to write that my son said that he knows for a fact that Paul Holt was killed by Jason. He said that the part where Ginny and Paul are in the cabin and Jason crashes the window and attacks Ginny and pulls her out the window wasn't a dream sequence and that it actually happened. After Ginny was attacked by Jason she passed out and Paul tried to save Ginny but was killed by Jason. He said that after Jason killed Paul he went back to his shed and passed out..Jason woke up and then he pulled the machete out of his shoulder and crawled out of his shed and after that he then showed up at the store and he killed the couple who ran the store. He also said in Friday the 13th part 3 when they're showing the footage on television of Ginny being carried out on the stretcher you never hear the voice of the person on the television saying that Ginny Field and Paul Holt both survived and the person just simply says Ginny Field survived..So my son says it proves that Paul Holt was killed by Jason so now Friday the 13th fans finally have an answer to what happened to Paul Holt..
