I've carried out convergence studies on mechanical using fortran, which is quick and easy to change the element size incrementally. Do you have any tips on carrying out convergence in fluent? I'm just changing min/max element size in the meshing stage, then re-running the analyses. It's quite time consuming and was wondering if there is a feature to speed this up, cheers! Andy

Hello, I am trying to model the flow around a turboprop propeller using an actuator disk. I am having trouble implementing the boundary condition that leads to the pressure jump and streamtube contraction. Do you have any tips on that? :)
Hello Mike, I am confused about turbulent intensity, what really it is and how could we possible know the value of it. Lets suppose boundary velocity inlet was a window of a building would this value be the representation of the outside atmpsheric turbulence levels? Thanks very much for the video.

If you already have the pipe and twisted tape modeled, you can follow this example (th-cam.com/video/NYwnLIdBBqw/w-d-xo.html) to mesh what is left inside the pipe.

From your error, "reversed flow...on pressure-outlet," it sounds like you have similar issue to what happens in this video (th-cam.com/video/9e3A4BRiP5g/w-d-xo.html, just after 10:00). I suspect you'll need to extend your domain so that flow recirculation occurs within the domain and not in/out of the boundary.
